Let me know if you get the Absinthe Idea up and running - I always wanted to try it properly

I have a wormwood bush growing but am a bit wary of making Absinthe as if it goes wrong someone will get very ill or die. I don't want that. Just about everything I have found out about the process comes with some truly serious warnings. I have a still and over 20 years experience in brewing and distillation, but forget that. But this year I will definately make my first batch of POTKA. More later.

Ok everyone... heres just a quick update.

These are the plants almost a week later, SSH has still not started to flower.

Oh well, looks like harvest will be spread out a bit.

 

You can see I have kind of extended the frame using bamboo stakes to tie to instead....

So many more to tie down but I dont want to rush it, as I dont see for about a day after a tieing down session where the branches are gonna stand up again. So little by little

 

First pic is of the patch as a whole, second is skunk #1, third is LA confidential, fourth is lemon skunk and fifth is super silver haze.

I do get whitefly every year, they dont seem to do much damage though.

If they take hold I have something up my sleeve for use anytime before hairs start browning.

 

Thanks for the compliments, this will be my last grow for maybe 1-2 years so I'm really hoping it gets as big as it can.

When I remember I will put up some pics of the stems. One is a bit bigger than a lighter.

hey phreak have you ever extracted from the phalaris grass? was thinking of growing some as it takes a real short time compared to most other plants with a high dmt content. just been hearing its a lot harder to extract pure dmt ?

I tried using 90% homebrew steve to extract the phalaris but it didnt seem to do much at all.

The phalaris took 2 summers to get that big. Always plant behind the northern fence with it
