If you get busted in Tas then suspicion of having sold mj will land you in the Supreme Court, Legal Aid doesn't cover first time offenders as there is little chance of being gaoled so you are saddled with the lawyers bill too. In the Magistrates Court a lawyer isn't so important, a friend recently fronted the court without a lawyer for cultivation and copped a $40 fine and 12 month bond.

Personal, I use weed as a pain killer because I hate pills and I hate wasting money to get high on random weed - I need potent stuff all the time to remain friendly.

 

Tip: If you smoke weed for pain relief and love the knockout effect try leaving the buds out of the bag and itll turn into sleep-weed! I dont do this all the time as I like to get a good buzz sometimes too but its good when you need to sleep.

I think he was caught with 10 or 12 plants in a reasonably sophisticated hydro set-up, he doesn't talk about it much.
