Its good to get into the habit of flushing your plants once a week to avoid nutrient salt problems - this is a quick flush...20 mins to and hour or so....and then flush again for an entire week at the end of the flowering cycle

Gotta flush em all the time mate, especially in flood and drain. pour some plain water through the top of all pots. In a flood and drain system usually the inch or so above where the water level gets to will get a huge amount of salt build up. If your plants are deep and big and hard to move, fill a bucket with plain water, and chuck your pump with some garden hose attached and do it like that.

 

Dont go do it now, but to flush your crop you are going to have to do it.
