last time I bought a meter it came with 2 calibration solutions. _every use_ it was recommended to recalibrate.

 

OTOH, that was more than a few years ago. I'm growing in soil at the moment and feel 'approximate' PH is forgivable.

droped in to the hydro shop to fix /swap/learn how to use my ph meter, he thinks its my new rainwater tank;something starting with "P" ( sorry forgot damn stoner!) leaches out of the new plastic and fluctuates the ph.

has anyone heard of anything like that?

it sorta makes alot of sense for my situation,

ive changed to town water wich was 6.9, after i added the nutes it droped to 5.9 so ive left it there

he says after 3 empties of my tank it will be good to use? (5000 litres )

 

does anyone else use a new water tank?
