If your plants are low on something they will grow slowly and maybe look crook, but if they are too high on something then they'll be poisoned and likely die.

Always be wary about adding anything to a sick plant, first be satisfied its not got too much of something.

 

I'm not particularly experienced at growing indoors with lights and nutes but I've killed plants with excess (lights, nutes, rare exotic minerals) and never with deficiency
