Little help, Massive newbie...

Firstly, been reading for a little bit, this is the first time I've input, great to a new part of the community...

 

Ok, I'm thinking of possibly growing but I don't have a clue in regards to what to do once I've got the seeds. Is there any simple guide anyone can direct me to (or, if you guys are feeling extra nice, post from your own experience) in regards to raising just a few plants (1-3)?

 

Any help is good help, thanks guys!

Haha, cheers man, I was looking for something more along the lines of what I need to do to get them past, let's say, 20cms high...

well if u wana grow outside hang onto em for abit but if u wanna go inside get some coco ( canna or bunnings bricks will work ) wash it with ph 6 water n put thoes seeds in ....wait a few days and walla all shold be good. But u will need food ( nutrients ) after about a week

try this... germinating seed

 

and then try this for a set up... recirc system this system will work with 1 or more pots..

 

if you dont want to go so large for the first time.. refit out an old wardrobe.. wardrobe construction guide

 

then follow this grow guide.. weekly grow guide

 

should set you on the right track..

EDIT: Sukon, do you have any info on what to do outdoors after the germination phase? That guide was really helpful, by the way. Anyway, just info on how long they should take after replanting (as at the end of your germ guide) to get them to the harvest level and what to fertilise them with. How's horse manure for fertilisation, because I have ample supply of it?

Hi how ya going?

my friend is growing outside in S.E Queensland at the moment.The plants are growing well.If you can't wait til spring plant them in pots and carry them inside at night. I think an easy way to grow if you are new to all this is to use half perlite and half organic soil. Bunnings stock one called 'debco organic'. Then you can use your horses manure to fertilize the plants in their veg (leaf) stage. Bunnings sell a product called"bloom booster" made by Manutec which is about $6 and it is great for the flowering stage. Good luck with your grow, remember not to overwater.

Can anyone recomend me a "Short" plant ?

I want something on the balcony which wont attract attention, preferably an Indica with a good hit, becoming a bit tollerant in my old age

You can keep any indica short really, top it, and put it to flower at 8-12inches, should end up no higher than 3 feet.
