They have asked us to submit questions for the panel this is mine

A question to Senator Conroy in 3 parts

1 What part of the statements by the Technical experts "The proposed filter will NOT stop child porn on the internet", don't you understand?

2 What part of "Transparent" government is found in a "secret" censorship list?

3 Don't you realize "1984" was meant to be a warning not an instruction manual?

Just got back from the show and they let me ask part of my question, A ripple of laughter went through the studio and the look from conroy was daggers, I thought his head was going to explode, and the pitiful response "That's not what we are doing" fooled nobody, people all around me gave the thumbs up to the question. He knew I was calling him the head of the thought police and it got right up his nose,

He still seemed shitty as he left the studio at the end of the show and threw another look of disgust at me as he walked out, I just smiled back.

haha, poor diddums, it's funny the way politicians react when they have no response. It is good too see someone making the stupidity of it somewhat more obvious though !!! If he can't even defend censorship too a simple question why is he in office ?

I just emailed the producer earlier with some suggestions about the show including

 

A suggestion of a topic for future debate would be "Supplying medical cannabis for those that NEED IT, Australia's failed obligation"

 

It would certainly be passionate and controversial, Panel members could be Dr Alex Wodak, Andrew Katelaris MD, Nikola Roxon MP, Chris Pine MP, Sen. Bob Brown.
