MUD
They're some nice pics on this thread... I love my snakes, that's why I became a snake catcher. Up here in the Upper Hunter we've got shitloads... browns, red-bellied blacks, tigers, copperheads, death adders & when you venture into Wollemi NP you'll also find the mulgas(king browns) + pythons, but I mainly get the venomous varieties when I go out. creature of the forest
I used to come across heaps of snakes when I was guerrilla growing, mainly Eastern Browns and Red Bellied Blacks, had a few close calls with them too. That prompted me to make some leggings out of leather which wrapped around my legs and came up to my knees. Made me feel much better.
Allotropy
Here is a python I narowly missed with my landy, on the way to nimbin. It was a big mother fucker. It came as a sign, 5 marked police cars, many detectives and plain clothes detectives were all over the small weed smoking village.

Budman2012
Hey , Great Pics everyone (A beauty Oz ... and that's a biggin' Allo , nice one guyz) I thought I'd posted a few more pics than I actually have .. thought I'd just add to it while I'm here browsing nw.Not the best Pics but :Bit of a funny story this one ... I was in the kitchen and heard a breaking/falling sound in the trees just out front , darted to the window to see the branches swaying like something fell ... went outside to check what was going on and I noticed what had fallen out of the Tree I grabbed my Cam : - The pics didn't really justify the size ... This particular tree-climbing Python was well over 2 metres long and in good condition Another smaller but well patterned one out the back : - Again , the pic doesn't do this natural beauty justice ...I try to never interfere with the other creatures we share this Earth with ... although I had to let this one know that entering the living room was not in 'our best interests' at that time (probably sensed the good smoke? ) I woke up and opened some windows ... first animated lifeform I saw : - It was as scared as I was I'm sure ... Best that we would leave each other be ... But I decided to try and take another Pic for the OS "Snakes Alive!" thread : - Lucky it didn't strike out at me , heheh ... I'm sure 'it' was thinking about it Anyhoo , I've maybe a few more pics but hat is all I can muster for now Cheerz all , Stay Well Budman

Budman2012
Cool ... Snake Thread Back once again with some scientific snake pics and facts that speak louder than words ...(unless the words were talking about those same facts in an amplified way) ... ahem ... Pics now: - It's True , Snakes Dig wicked Awesome Tunes to chill out to ... - They also like watching DVD's , (sorry but there's no snake porn around here) ... - And like many people , after selecting the DVD has passed out ontop the TV 1/2 way thru the movie. Buuut we got up the next day and played some Monopoly ... - The snake ate the dog and the car and a few were missing so I had to be the Iron Nevertheless it was a good game ... the snake was the banker so it was slow going and I swear it stashed a few 500's under the board We said our farewells and it cruised off to get some alfresco dinner ... - It's a long and winding road ... so I'm sure my friend will get home safely Well , this is alot to risk on dial up ... here goes ...Cheerz and Journey Well Budman

bbud666
hey all.. just noticed this snake thread and being the reptile lover that i am i just couldnt help myself... so i thought id throw a few pics of my little reptile friends.. i regularly see these in my bedroom.....in tanks of coarse but 1 got out 1 night a little while ago and i woke up and she was about 8 inches from my face and our kitten was asleep on the other side of me....nervous moment.... anyway, i have 2 centralian pythons which are from around central australia and 2 intergrade diamond pythons.. a male and female as each.. i wanna get a woma python, blackheaded and rough scaled python as well, but just the 4 for now... this 1 is little boy my male centralian..how pathetic they start off.. hes just over 2 metres now and not a social fella.. hes always hated being handled, doesnt bite just darts off..this 1 is keisha the diamond python, she wasnt keen to get outta bed that day but shes a great snake, lovely temperament. shed never bite..this is little girl my female centralian.. she was my 1st snake.. shes 2 and she is 2 and a half metres long and fairly thick although as the pic shows she can still curl up in a ball that makes her appear much smaller.. she is also a lovely snake.. i had to brake an ornament to peices 1nce that she had climed in and wouldnt come out and she never attemted to bite..
