HP OR SON T

i like son t for 1st part of flowering then finish off with hp.....whats everyone else like the best for flowering??

I like the Luca Grow as the lamp is supposed to retain heaps of output for most of it's life. The 600 sends the lux metre off scale

Yes HPS Logger. Supposed to put out 98% for 6000hrs, as well as 20% more lumens than a standard lamp apparently?

thats a lot of 12/12 crops................9 x 8weeks=9x56 days=506 days........6000hrs=500 days......faaaaaarrrkkk

cool, never done the maths on the amount of grows, got a few 400Son T Agro's that still work, I don't know how many hours they have been on for, a lot more than 6000hrs I would say, but they still grow buds just fine.

I think the lamp usually starts blinking and fails before I have noticed anything different though too.

I have even only used SON-T and cant fault them.

 

Atm i am using a 250w powerplant brand of lighting and they are a shit full stop they are very lite in the out put range of the orange/red color and make ya plants streach out to much...

What do you mean by HP ?? If you mean High Pressure Sodium .. Son T is just a different type of bulb that you use is a HPS set up . They will all be HPS .

Now if you were to ask about the differences between MH ( metal halide) and HPS , that would be different !

 

Perhaps your question should have been something like this : What type of HPS bulb do you prefer "
