Bucket stealth

anyone thought of using a bucket to grow in?

like the big mayo tubs 25 lt i think with lids pc fan in the lid, single cfl in the middle and cylinder scrog around it i have soo many buckets lying around 2 or 3 that were grow boxes would be un noticed!

ideas?

Try and go as big as you can I reckon. File cabinet with a lock? Fans are going to make noise so one of the large computer cases would excuse it. One of those old large tv's. Gut it? . Whats the reason for stealth?

just to be xtra stealthy i already use a fridge but would like a few others about as i do a 2 plant scrog of the same strain variety is the key stealth is just cos its cool and would like to keep em well hidden as already have convictions of cultivation

I used a bin once, it was white plastic so pretty reflective already but then I spray painted the outside black and the inside white again.

Wasn't too bad, but I couldn't figure out how to get the lights in there properly because the sides were too wide to get them in the sides and still over the plant but it was too thin to have them all inside. Probably just my crappy light setup though.

 

Before I realised it wasn't going to work for me I was thinking to put a lid on with a fake bottom and then put some rubbish on top of it. Would be perfect if you had a big enough bin for just one plant. Not sure what people would think if you had 20 bins lined up across your bedroom wall though .
