imo

no

i think it is not true

i could be wrong

there may be other factors i am not aware of

however

i think

in fact it should give a boost the plant ina flowering cycle quite nicely

P is essential for flower and seed production

K promotes big strong stem growth

week stems and big buds dont mix

seen

i feel, if you follow the standed 12/12 flower period

in a well run system as yours

the reproductive period is not so much govened by enviromental conditions

as it is by genitics

so one should plan to harvest at the recomended flowering period

seen

unless............

you feel a futher week or two would give you more yield

otherwize

stick to the plan

imo

crucial to maintain peek vitality and health right up to the final flush

nice one Radic

u c i was told by my local hydro guy that the PK13/14 will slow them down but the final swell will be worth it.he said this is what PK13/14 dose.

i am trying to find this out because,i am not worried if my indoor plant takes longer to finish BUT i have plants out side & i was thinking about giving them the PK13/14 but i do not wont to if it is going to put an extra week on the finishing time because the bad

weather may get me in that extra week

i will harvest my indoor plant when they are 50% cloudy & 50% amber because this is how i like it

anyways thanks again Radic

be aware BB

most hydro sales people are there to sell products

so

why does that paticular ballance of pk have the effect of slow down????

or is it?????

because there is no N in the mix

yo

no N will really slow the growth down

i can see the light of that

is this PK product said to be a suplement??????

or is it a full stregnth nuitrent solution?????.

what is the recomended plan it is part of????

what is its purpose in the plan?????

could you take a few pix of the lable and active ingredance list please

or better still a link to their web site

PK13/14 NPK 0-13-14

total nitogen 0%

add PK13/14 once 3 weeks before harvesting,to a full nutrition tank in the following propotion

dissolve 150ml concentrate per 100 liter of water 1:666

add this mixture to the nutrient for 3-6 days

i used it like this as i was told to do so.

i added only 1ml per liter of water so i put 30ml PK13/14 into my 30 liters of RO and that gave me an EC of 0.4 i think

then i added my bloom feed untill i got to EC 1.5

thinking about it now,my plant must have been short on Nitrogen.

i have heard that a lot of people do not like to use PK13/14 because its easy to burn your plants with it,but i am daring

dose anyone else use CANNA PK13/14 diffently to how i used it ?

i used this grow schedule http://www.canna-uk.com/products_aqua/nutr...calculator.html

thats called a supplement

because you are adding it to an existing nuitrent solution

seen

now your aqua bloom NPK : 4 - 4 - 11

you add a supplement PK : 13 - 14

at the recomended rates

your nuitrent solution

should end up with a NPK : 4 - 17 - 25

seen

any ting above

20 is considered high

10 is mid mark

5 is low

so your N is 4 that is very low and = slow growth

now the P is 17 getting up there and = increased flower and seed production and roots--->BIG BUDZ

but the K is 25 that is above high and = increased stem growth, protection from mould

yo

i can see now how easy it would be for the K to burn the leaf

it is always wise to introduce sups at half strenght for the first feed day

then next day full strength

if you see the leaf tips start to curl down

flush immediately

then start again at half strength

it is very easy to set up hydro out doors in the ground even

do you grow in the ground or in pots ?????

what is the soil or potting mix like?????

what fertz hav u used for you out door plants?????

when did you apply last?????

do your plants get water every day????

in most cases use of hydro nuitz for plants grown in soil isa bit wastefull

as you lose it to the water table verry quickly

a drain to waste system will over come dat

out door hydro even scrog gets excellent results

do you use the same teks for out door as you do for your indoor scrog??????

i do

i get like 10oz of premo to the m2 of out door scrog

gotta love dat

From my personal testing with this product i find that when i add the PK 13/14 for a week there is a slowing of growth as the plant takes up the PK but after a week in the res tank and a good flush i put them back onto full strength nutes and BAM they go nuts

definatly a good product to use i use it conjuntion with a PGR at most times and always get blown away at the size and density of each bud

cheerz

irey to hear that you are happy with your yield

yo

could you just clafie you process for me please???

do you use PK as a supplement to add to an existing nuiternt solution?????

or

do you run PK as a complete full strength nutiernt solution?????

is your PGR program --->a solution of Plant Growth Regulator (PGR)??????

a link to your plan would be kool

hey Radic thanks for taking the time,

i got me outdoor plants growing in grow bag mixes from B&Q

i am watering them every 3 days unless its been raining

i am feeding once a week with TOMORITE tomato feed NPK 4-4-8 untill they started flowering, then i was going to be changing over to a ROSE feed.

i am not growing in pots,i just dug holes and filled them in with the grow bag mixes and some clay balls at the bottom for drainage, they seem to be growing ok,but could be better imo

not scroging out side, maybe try this out next year

hey Stoney did using the PK put an extra week on your flowering time ????

thanks lads BB

np

same story out doors

TOMORITE tomato feed

NPK 4- 4- 8

-PK 0-13-14

so total

NPK = 4 -17-22

low N is responcible for slow growth

do you really want to slow growth??????

imo

to maintain peek vitality at all stages of growth is a must

yo

i find i get bigger higher quality yiedls that way

its all a question of ballance

how do they know what the best NPK for cannabis is any way???

its all guesstamation if you ask me

i prefier to leave the ballancing of the NPK and all the other major, minor and trace elements to someone who knows what they are doing like mother nature

imo

worm farms rule for organic nuitrent harvesting

if i want bloom nuitrents then i feed the worm farm strictly weed waste from strictly flowering plants

think about it

in it natural state the leaves fall down underneath the plant and compost down to become available nuitrents to the plant again

it is ideal ballance for the parent plant cause thats where it came from

how scientists find the best ballance of NPK for each plant eg tommartos, roses, whatever

is to burn some leaf or flower and annalize the ash

the NPK is then fead back to the plant in the same ratios as the ideal NPK fertlizer for that plant

i am so impressed by

how far can the less is more thieory can be strecthed
