Well you didn't miss much except some good footage of some decent set-ups, was basically just a scare story to help try and push people into dobbing in their neighbours. Haven't managed to get the clip but will post it if I do.

On the evening news there was some footage and what have you about the 8 houses in Blair Athol...

 

T'was a wee bit interesting...

 

The 'crime syndicates', as they put it, kinda shit me. It is that sort of mass scale growing that makes the everyday backyard gardener look bad.

 

Anyways, the sleeps, they are calling me.

a funny part was when one of the cops goes on about the dangerous 'mercury vapour' light...yeah right...MH or HPS more like it.

 

one room had about ten 1kw lights in it...drool drool..

First crack at indoor growing I used a mercury Vapour. Was all I could buy in Kingaroy 15 years ago. The veg was great, but the heads...erg..like pencils! Actually, worse. It was like bum fluff on a match stick. No shit..

But what's the great danger of Mercury vapour anyway? I hear if they explode it's a disaster, but surely any of these bulbs are going to be hot dangerous things if they fly apart?

Well, if the information to what i've been fed about these newish energy efficient light bulbs, is correct. Quite possibly that copper and many household have these little mercury time bombs, thru their houses. I won't be installing any until i find out more info about em.

 

Same with the stoopid legislation that my state government come out with, that all households must have smoke detectors fitted in our houses. Well, they can go root their boot, with that one as well. I'm not too keen on having radio active shite scattered throughout my house as well.

Don't they use Mercury vapor bulbs in most street lights. If the cop is right, the streets must be toxic danger zones just waiting to 'kill the children'. Doesn't anyone think of the children anymore Where's TodayTonight when ya need 'em lmao

Yes MM they still use the old mercury in the street lights and all those big factory lights that hang over peoples heads are full of mercury nice thought. Indy those little time bombs that are sitting in peoples households are complete with mercury. In America they come with a warning if they break please leave the room immediately. Have no idea what you are supposed to do then, but at least they give you a warning.
