Train OUR dogs to be sniffers??

Hi Urban,

Interesting party trick to have your dog sniff out ya' mates to see whos carrying lol Hell I got a normal dog but I wouldn't freak my mates by training it to do that :egyptdance:

Although an arduous and long term task if you want your dog to do that well. Sort of like finding troufles? Beats me why a grower would want to do that.

"Thanks everyone, liked the tennis ball and kongs idea, and thanks for the links, hopefully I aren't giving the impression I want my sniffer dog to "find" crops, I know few outdoor growers, and they are pretty agressive people, and I do not want to play around with them "

Us outdoor guys are not agressive

So how did you go? Your dog should be good at it by now :twiddle:

As Lou Lou said, it's an oldie but a goody.

Stay safe, man :db:

Yeah if you can successfully train him to sniff other peoples drugs there's gonna be a temptation to try take em when nobody's home. After all if nobody else but you and mr sniffy knows somebody down the street has a grow show happening, then he can hardly call the cops or claim it on his home and contents insurance if they get stolen. All I can say is don't do it, don't go down a road that could lead to the path of uncoolness just for a party trick.

Now all I need to do is hop in the delorean and go back ten years and deliver that message to when this thread started.
