help with white slime in nute tank

Recommended Posts

Thank you Pure! That's what I've been doing Bettas need fresh water once a week. I dip out about 1/3 of her bowl and add fresh that's been sitting over night. She eats tube worms...(ferocious little fishies these bettas) and always gets them all.

I've just never had that clear snotty slime before and it sounded very similar, so I thought it might give a clue since the 2 are so different.

I noticed that the last time I changed her water that the slime wasn't there, and the only thing that's different is I didn't use the dechlorinator, but rather just let the water sit for a day.

Glinda the good fish thanks you as well!
