IS this fan enough?

Recommended Posts

hello mrs bud,

fan size can never be an exact calculation anyway. That size fan (125mm 40 watter) should be enough ventilation for that space with a 400 watter. The critical factor is heat. You want to keep your growroom below 30 degrees celsius (25-28 is the ideal range). This will depend on the temps of the air you are pulling into the room, and also where you are extracting the hot air to. Its important to extract the hot air to outside the room you've got that tent in so you're not just recycling the hot air.

Well, it would be important in summer, now that its winter maybe not so important. But thats the most important thing to think about when setting up your ventilation IMO. :applause:

i bought a vortice lineo mixed flow inline duct fan, not even sure its a centrifugal, but it pulls the same as one, and yeh im ducting it outside. The vortice 200mm is good any 1 looking for a fan pulls 294L/sec which is alot for a 200mm fan. Google vortice lineo and few sites will come up. Yeh at the moment the temps are 24-25c in 96 humidity here, but ill prob have 2 get a A/C to cool the room the tents in or at least get a axial

for an intake fan i reckon.

When its more humid but not as hot, is this worse than hottter and dryer? Guess ill prob need hygrometer for humidity dont have 1 yet but at 24-5 in the tent doubt humidity is 70+?
