In SYD, for about the last 10 years that I know of, 'retail' for a qtr has been $100 and an oz has been $400. 'Wholesale' or mates-rates is $300/oz. Dealers on the street in KX sell 1-2g buds for $50. Seen dealers hawking ozs to tourists in SYD CBD & E subs backpackers' hostels and in pubs nr Darlo around Mardi Gras time for $550/oz- and getting it. Madness, but it happens.

Us aussies are on the Metric System now..but we still deal in pounds,ounces, halves and quarters..(for mj purposes) below that we have 50's and 25's which are basically the same amount of weed as 1/8 or 1/16 oz. respectively

 

i always found it slightly amusing we use the old Imperial System until we get below 1/4 oz.

and then its a 'fifty' and below that a 'twenty five' or 'stick'....never understood why we never sold it as eighth's or sixteenth's...at least thats a guranteed weight.. fifties and twenty-fives have a bit of variation in weight from dealer to dealer..region to region..state to state..

7g is $50 or sometimes 55 here in s.a. I don't know why our pot is so cheap. We seem to have similar laws as most places. I guess when you have ppl who just refuse to pay more than that, then that's where the price seems to stay. If i had to pay $50 for 3g, i would probably just go without more often. I remember at the start of this yr the price went up to 250 an oz and 3k a pnd. Ppl weren't happy about that. It seems to of leveled off back down to about 220 an oz and 2.5k a pnd

yeah that's about right. Dealers are real mean around my area. Real mean...

A $20 will get you 0.7g, a $50 upwards is usually 3g, a quarter is $100, half for $200 and a full for $360.

No-one will sell you more than a $50 though...as they are all convinced they are going to get rich with their shitty deals.

Last time I got an elbow it was $2.5K.
