Hi all.. thinking about my first try at indoor growing.. only gonna trycloset grow indoor.. small maybe 1x1 or 2x2 foot grow at max..

I am looking at that.. can some1 please tell me what is good or bad about this.. any opinion is a good opinion.

 

P.S i know this information can be foud else where.. but if i were to get that package, what is the Light Specrum optimum middle ground for Veg/Flower x k's

 

Any input is welcome.. i am looking at lower power for start.. later this will become a mother lamp.. i am contemplaqting gettin a 70 w bulb for veg then change to 150w in flower

 

Maybe 4 plant SOG Mimic, or a Scrog

Try and find a 250w HPS, IMO it will flower better than a MH will.

and make sure you get a remote ballast.

i figured that spook, but MH is beter than fluro right? im trying to go really low wattage.. just for a personal year round stash.. Just waiting for summer season

 

does 250w have heating issues in such a small space.. i still see 250w as decently high wattage.. my computer tower used to be 250w and it got hot..

Ive finally worked out the new way of quoting posts .

Sorry, back to the topic.

 

MH is a hell of alot better than fluros or HPS for vegging, but the HPS would do a better job of flowering.

Although the MH will still flower them for you.

 

Bascially Watts = Amount of buds yeilded. So the more light, the more buds you should get.

if you want to stay small and low wattage, then I would actually be looking at a High powered Fluro instead.

Something like a 130watt Envirolight, would work well. They only produce a fraction of the heat compared to a HID. And you can get complete brand new setups for about $180-00. or you could use a cool fan driven Cool tube.

yeah, i had some1 recommend them enviro lights before..- how much bud would i be looking at with a 130 w fluro.. they are alot slower to grow arnt they?? i smoke joints not cones.. so my weed lasts alot less..

To be honest, ive never used one myself. But im saving for one at the moment. Ive seen some pretty respectable grows from them though.

 

IMO light has nothing to do with the "speed" of the grow, just how much it yeilds.

After my court date i will be setting up for another grow all going well with a 150w ballest the the coppers dident take.

 

The ballest it a acco 150w mh/hsp (not sure if rite spelling), it will run both mh and hsp globe, but have to save my $$$ to get the 150w hps globe they are $55.

 

If you can get one of these ballests it will run both globes as i have had a mh and hps running on my one i have.

 

Those 130w envro fluros u can get off ebay for $66 atm...
