Take the glass out or whatever is there and get it on a smooth cement slab with some soft wood and a hammer you should be able to flatern it out so that its at least useable.

 

might not look the best that way but if you get some clamps and planks of wood you could flattern it without many scuff marks(But from the image you will be cutting away a fair bit so it fits)

 

Or live and learn and grab another shade??
