serious stretch

well heres my prob these plants are 2 weeks 6 days old but look at em there so stretched its unbelievble and its really pissing me off other plants ive grown never stretched like this i dont get it the light (250 watt hps) is like 10 cm away there massive why do you think there stretched so much could it be the strain (northern lights) do they stretch god dam it man when i start buddin em there gonna be massive

 

plz any 1 tell me why they stretch ime desperate

i didnt see a fan in there either, but if you do have one in there i would turn it up or replace it with a stronger one because they look fairly healthy, the light is close enough, etc. and the only stretching like that i have seen in my grow rooms is when i havent had enough wind blowing over the plants or the light was too far away :smoke:

Yea thats what i meant SW, I think the globe is worn out ... how long has it been used for?

Like if nothing else is different and the nutrients and potting mix are the same as what you usually grow with, and you've never had this problem well it only really leaves the globe that may be performing below standard.

I do agree that air movement is nessacery, but i gotta gut feeling about the globe
