PK 13-14 & Liqued Lead

Recommended Posts

racingsnake ..... Hey there

I'm using Canna Flores with about 3 weeks to go hopefully.

I just added PK13/14 to my nutes as per instructions on the bottle...

It pulled the EC right up to 26 from around 18/19 (my tap water when ph adjusted is around 6). The ph also shot up but I lowered that down to 6.

EC of 26 :yahoo:

PK raisese EC 0.04 from what I know/experienced.

Dr Rockster...You plants may well easily tolerate that increase in strength but but me personally would knock it back to 22 and slowly bring it up although I never feed stronger than 18/19 myself.

those EC feeding no's are what I use also Dr R - Keeps me out of touble.

Let me correct myself Nitram...

My ph corrected tapwater has an EC of 0.6 or a CF of 6.

As per instructions, I run my nute solution at an EC of 1.2 +- above the tapwater, which gives me a normal EC/CF reading of 1.8/18 respectively on average...

Now, as per instruction on the bottle:

Add PK13-14 once 3 weeks before harvesting to a full nutrient tank at the rate of 15mlPK 13-14 to 10 litres of nutrient solution...

I did that and I got the EC of 2.6 or CF of 26.

My EC rose 0.8

(70 litres nute soln) + (105ml/70L@ratio of 15:10 000)

I do appologise for any confusion caused by my incorrect use of the abbrieviation EC as apposed to CF and vice versa

Cheers again
