i have been using Plantastic rockwool Veg and Flower , side by side with Canna Veg and Flower , i could nt see any differance, then i realised Plants cant read Labels , Plantastic is up $20.00 cheaper for the 2 x 1 litre bottles..

Plants and their needs usually don't vary greatly - only their environment will produce major changes. Our standard Plantastic formula provides for a vigorous lush growth through a generous blend of various nutrients and additives provided.

But for the use of rockwool (Vertex, Grodan, Growool etc), a minor "tweak" was needed to modify the formulation to maximise performance. Basing the modification on a European rockwool formulation, we set out to make sure we were not getting excessive salt build up through the rockwool, nor was there any gross variations in pH levels. Through buffering and balance we achieved this, and have provided a nutrient that is free flowing through rockwool and has a well buffered pH.

I use the PK13/14 @ 5 weeks flower the all the time , but liquid potash is cheaper and is a good Ph UP , instead buying it , the only other additive i use is AU60/Regen-a-root/rhiztonic and maybe some poweractive/bio balancer/cannazym and only in summer....

cannazym and rhiztonic i have used before , but only when things went bad , again that was in summer and was a test against the aussie stufff at half the price

the only thing i would say about canadianxpress it did not mix well with canna my cf was going thru the roof with it ..

I've been using the DM Max-fx/penetrator/folitech sets with my current grow, and I'm very happy with them....

Canna are pretty overpriced when you consider what the other brands cost. If there was a difference between nutrient brands it would likely be within 10% and probably less. There are many other factors which have a vastly higher effect on things than whether your nutrients cost 60 or 100 dollars per set.... :applause:

But they all grow plants.
