i accidently put double the amount of silica magic!

silica is great for humans.

try this out..its extremely concentrated (a thick gel)

www.silicea.com.au its about 25$ per 500ml.

Each mL contains: 28mg/mL silica-colloidal anhydrous

i wonder how its compares with the products your using?

only problem with it is make sure u add it to rez before anything. plain water only! or it will make the solution go terribly cloudy

 

problem with silica is it makes my ph go up all the time. and i have to add so much bloudy ph down sometimes i feel im doing more harm than good by using it. and the one time i didnt use it i got my best yield. but im using it again cause everyone says i should!

yeah im going to see if my hydro shop as it tomorrow, my water p.h is 7 here thats tap water so lets hope i dont have to use to much ph down as well , but if it needs it i'll buy it ..and thanks for that i 'll make sure it goes in first does your c.f go up with it??

g'day; i have been told that silica majic has been banned for use by grape growers.tho i don't know all the details, if growing hydroponically you should never have a 'salinity' problem!

its not a salt so 'salinity' has nothing to do with it.

all silica is it microscopic grandules of a pure sand, that which is used in glass.

They say humans could just as likey be silicon based lifeforms as opposed to carbon based lifeforms.

Its a perfectly safe additive for both humans and plants, infact in these modern times we lack alot if it.

Silica will muck with your PH readings BIG time, But it shouldnt change the EC, or CF too much. Although Ive seen some brands that contains nutrients, micronutrients also, and so these will adjust your salinity. Salinity = Content of salts.

yeah it wont do much to your CF. at 2ml per 10 litre it wont, but make sure u put it in the water first, adjust ph down to 6.5, or thereabouts then add nutes.
