Thai Sticks were popular during the later part of the Vietnam war, as at that time American troops brought it back stateside and also into Aust. where many of them spent thier rest and relaxation breaks.

 

It was premium buds of seedless marijuana that were skewered on marijuana / bamboo stems. String found in the stalk of the marijuana plant was used to tie the buds to the stem and keep it in place. It looked like a cigar,approximately 1 inch in diameter and 10 - 12 inches in length.

At the time they cost about .35 cents each in downtown Bangkok

 

Thai sticks were very potent compared with the marijuana that was available at the time, without doubt it was the finest smoke in Asia.
