foliar feeding ?

Recommended Posts

yeah cool mate, bilo used to be the one to get but they changed the way they make it.

Theres 2 ways they make the bubbles, one way is bi-carb soda and vinegar.. there the ones with the sodium content. The other is like a soda stream... forced Co2 injection into cold water, contains the most Co2 that way..

ok, I am in adelaide, so I get FoodLand brand.... you will have to look around for the salt free stuff.... or alternatively, buy a soda stream.....if you get a soda stream then spring water or rain water would be the shit to use.. oh or RO water if ya got it... sorry I cant help you more.....

back to ur original question regarding testing the ph.

i tested the ph of DM penetrator when its mixed with a nute solution for foliar spray and its b/w ph 9 - 10!!!! its very alkaline.

mix it with the DM foliar stuff and test it. the ph is very high

i was wondering myself whether to decrease the ph? but it takes a fair bit of ph down to decrease it.

i thought perhaps its supposed to be so high in order for the penetrator to work as intended? ie. penetrate the leaf.

anyway ive tried it both ways, ie adjusting the ph of the foliar mix with dm penetrator to 6.3 and also leaving it at the 9.0 mark and it didnt make a difference

i still dont know if the ph of the DM penetrator should be decreased though????
