I brought this topic up on totse.com and was thougherly flamed... bastards.

I tried this, i made the mistake of washing my rice(about 5 times very thougherly) and not leting it dry. Before puting it in my nice glass ice bong... after leaving it behind my pc for a week there was visable mold growing on the rice! lol

Personally I didnt find it much better than using water. Plus the rice flavour was strange if not unpleasent.

I am gona give this another try with out washing the rice. I think washing the rice actully screws this fitration system up, because I belive that the starch maybe what is filtering the smoke so well, And when you wash rice you get rid of teh starch. :applause:

Update: I just read that bit on rice dust. Sounds bad. So i guess the trick is to give the rice a very quick rinse and maybe a blow dry that way most of the starch will remain while removing the 'DEADLY RICE DUST' (is this even true?).

I'll give it a go...

I've tried ice filtration, and milk...

Personally, the nicest I've discovered is through the stoned act of thinking it was a good idea at the time to use ice, milk, and some french brandy. Nice...smoothe, and, the hint of brandy up in htere is cool.

But, always into checking out new things.

I usually like to use the vapes where possible, but if there IS anything to this, and the rice somehow grabs a bit of the solid matter on the way, can't hurt giving it a spin, and a smoothe smoke is always cool.

Thanks for the suggestion.
