Hey stonedas.

 

I may have used the term SOG a little loosely. I literally meant it was a sea of green, as his grow room was completely full, with buds popping up in each available light space.

 

As I mentioned, he trains the plant from an early age, however with it's own 600w, there is only so much training you can do before it goes ape shit.

 

This particular grow, he grew for 3 weeks before switching to 12/12.

 

As I say, I may have been off the mark calling it SOG, however to the person who is used to being able to walk to the end of the grow room unhindered to tend to plants, this truly looked like a sea of green.

Well i can see it from both sides on the sog argument.... it is a sea of green but "hans" version of sea of green set the mark so to speak....

 

I would have thought he needed to veg longer,, but the main one to work out is grams/watt/month atleast when planing out what system suits you.....

That Han's SOG video is one of the most boring video I have ever encountered, Hans seems to repeat "clones" again again again, BUT.....VERY well informed video for those interested in commerical operations.

 

I am talking about one of his orginal videos, there's a several videos from the same guy, Hans.

 

I read somewhere that Hans dislikes High Times Magazine because something to do with copyright/money issues and the owner of High Times threatened to expose Han's ID, it was a big story, in one of my old High Times or Cannabis Canada magazines from the 1999's or 98. I can't remember the full story, will have to dig up my old magazines to get the story straight.

In late 2000, for example, an arbitrator ruled that Trans-High Corporaton had to pay $180,000 to Hans, creator of the Sea of Green books and video, for money that High Times owed from the sale of Hans' products (CC#30, High Times loses legal challenge). The arbitrator's ruling was the culmination of over two years of delays and legal wrangling, during which Hans and his family became homeless while waiting for money that High Times owed him.

 

Hans claims that Kennedy's staff even threatened to get him busted for the grow-ops he was using to produce a second Sea of Green video. Hans also claims that he still has not been paid the full amount that the arbitrator ordered.

Yes, after just finishing watching it, I can safely say the Sea of Green video is the most boring thing I have ever seen in my life.

 

More of a show off than an educational video.

WHYNOT: i myself and many of my friends all grow only 3 plants in 50 ltr pot 1 inside the other the same as you mentioned and with that we have 3x600's and 4x 400's in each cnr veg 4 6-8 weeks tip and train like mad and last crop pulled 5lb of 3plants all automatic as well ,so yes its posible to do c the idea is to tip and tie to create tips the more main tips you get the more(donkey dicks) you end up with as a rule of thumb we dont turn back until we can count 50+ main tips and instead of going vertyicl take it horizontal.
