Hey ppl with these TDS and PPM meters you can get for testing ya nutes, in the end thay end up all doing the same job dont thay or as thay say u get what ya pay for, or is it the better brand the higher price, but when it boils down to it thay all still do the same job dont thay???... They all do the same job yes.

 

However, it's commonly accepted that "Truncheon" EC-metres from Blue Labs (Used to be NZ Hydro) have the best product in terms of price/performance.

I am going to start getting a lot more full on with growing Tom and try a few other methods of growing with DWC 1st so i through i may as well get a tester...

That's what I thought. I got one and found i'd been seriously under feeding my plants by following the bottle recommendations.

 

I'm on my third grow and the first with a truncheon, I think my plants are a week ahead in terms of development.

 

Canna PK13/14 for example just cant be used anywhere near it's full potential without a good meter.

Yeah, you definitely need one with DWC and the Truncheon is the best one, easy to read too.

I got my Truncheon from Ebay for $85. Brand new with the five year warranty. Fuck giving the hydro shop $140.
