Hi Guys, Im new to gardening and want to set up a small (2 plant) grown room. I have seen them on ebay for around $500 . They seem to have everything and use LED lights. Has anyone had any experience with LED's? Do they work? Thanks for the help.

I use a 10cm square Gal weldmesh screen for the scrog and its been working well. However, the last couple of grows I have tried allowing the plant to grow upwards during the veg/flower changeover so that their are more bud sites below the main bud on each stem. This works well, however it creates a top heavy branch above the scrog screen and the last couple of weeks of flower some usually fall over blocking some light and air to other buds underneath it, not ideal. So...what can I use for the second screen? I'm thinking some light plastic mesh and the 10cm squares would again be good...thoughts?

Hi all, I have a rather large abundance of toads around at the moment... Have heard a few tales of growers burying fish, sheep, whatever below their outdoor grows. I am planning a new outdoor grow, should I bury them at the bottom of the hole ? I currently have a freezer full and will be digging holes this weekend for almost immediate planting out

Hi All, Its been getting a bit hot here so I was thinking of changing my light on period from during the day to during the night. Currently I run it 5am - 11pm, and would like to change it to approx 3pm - 9am. When I change to flower I wanted to run it on from 7pm - 7am. Is it ok to just change my times like this? Is there a better way of doing it? Or should I just wait till its ready to flower and just change it then? Thanks

G'day all I had some success with my dwc first grow. Now I have set up a three 20lt bucket system The res is a 120 lt container with 20mm pipe going in to the buckets then drops down to a 15mm pipe going into a 480 lt/ h pump Now the question is I have this pump and one other that is 4500 lt/h what would be the best flow rate to have, or do I need a different pump

Hi, New to the forum and never grown anything. From what I've read, a DWC system is probably the best way to start. I would prefer to grow in some cupboard space, and was only wanting to grow two plants in the long run but perhaps only begin with one. I saw this http://www.hydroponicxpress.com.au/shop/p-deep-flow-dutch-bato-kit.html online but would rather buy locally. I could travel anywhere between Northern NSW and Brisbane if the right store could be recommended as would prefer not to buy online. In regards to the sizing of plant, but would something like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-Hydroponics-German-Grow-Light-Tent-XS-Indoor-Room-60x60x140cm-Aluminum-…

So I'm currently trying to decide what lighting to go with to start my grow, I plan on growing from seed using rockwool. Once they are a few weeks old I'll be putting them under a 400w hps but to start I'm not sure what would be better, A 250w MH setup or either a 180w ufo led or 300w led (both marshydro brand led) I've made up a small starter box approx 1.2m x .8m x .8m and will be getting a 2x1.2x1.2m tent in the next fortnight which they will go into when they go under the 400w.

Sorry if I couldn't find more info. Given our soon to be Centrelink only income, have been speaking to a former "Sea Of Green" gardener and seems like it would solve at least our financial woes. Anyone have tips, ideas or stories please?

Hello all, I've just tried my hand at growing and after a bit of a fizog last season (14/15 managed 5 dry oz's of decent to good smoke) I've decided to try and do this properly this time. Instead of using random bag seed from a mate I'm going to get some decent quality seeds. Feed it nutes when it needs it I'm thinking of trying to grow under lights for a 3 weeks or so. Then move them outside and let the sun do its thing. So the question: is this light any good for a few weeks of veg growth? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=111625198481&globalID=EBAY-AU Cheers for any help/tips/telling me this has been posted to death and I n…
