					Smoking While Pregnant. 1 2

There is no evidence that I'm aware of linking the drugs in marijuana to serious medical conditions in unborn children. Thats not to say it doesn't exist. We do however know for a fact that inhaling any kind of smoke can cause premature births and health problems for growing fetuses. Marijuana or Tobacco should be avoided by pregnant mothers but this isn't always the case. So should Mothers be allowed to smoke while pregnant or should it be outlawed? Be aware that excessive smoking could lead to abortions. Freedom to smoke and risk abortion or freedom from risk for unborn children? Currently there is no law against smoking tobacco while pregnant.

Study: Marijuana Eases Traumatic Memories Scientists have known for years that the brain makes substances almost identical to the active ingredient in marijuana, but the function of these "cannabinoids" remained mysterious. Researchers now say they help to extinguish traumatic memories. "In certain situations, being able to forget is very important for emotional survival," said George Kunos, a neurobiologist at the National Institutes of Health. http://cannabisnews.com/news/thread13601.shtml Pot Blocks Painful Memories, Study Says Dr. Lutz's study will only add to the argument in favour of decriminalization. But it is also a landmark in medical terms because it deals …

CAT Cannabinoid Analysis Test Toronto: 2005 CAT (working title) Cannabinoid Analysis Test kits are being launched in Toronto in May 2005. CAT could revolutionize the already-legal medical cannabis market in Canada. CAT is a quick, easy-to-use and affordable cannabis analysis test kit that will now be available across Canada and online at www********. Not only is CAT itself inexpensive to buy, it uses only a tiny sample--100milligrams--of the cannabis (or 50mg of resin) to be analyzed, and provides a qualitative assay (report) on the presence of THC and 5 other cannabinoids: THV, CBC, CBG, CBD, and CBN. CAT also measures the amount of acids, giv…

i read about a year ago that canada was trying to grow a standard marijuana plant for all medicinal marijuana users in america. the article said that they had been working on it for 2 or 3 years when they breed a strain that had like 75% THC. i think they tried it out and the test subjects were freaking out and showing signs of skitzophrenia(spl) after just a few hits. has anybody else heard of this? is so, do you know what kind it was? because i want to get some of that shit.

Child with Multiple Psychiatric Diagnoses by Debbie Jeffries The psychiatric history of Debbie Jeffries' son suggests a complicated, multi- diagnosis developmental disorder. Mrs. Jeffries, after learning about cannabis as a medicine and deciding that, given its limited toxicity, she had little to lose in exploring the possibility that it might be helpful to her son where other, more toxic medicines had failed. The remarkable success she and her son achieved with marijuana is certain to generate controversy. Jeff has been diagnosed with just about everything, starting from the age of 2, with: ADHD, PTSD, OCD, ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), IED (Intermittent Exp…

While no responsible person would ever advocate the use of drugs for drivers, tests using a recently developed video game called Burnout have thrown up some surprise statistics. The testers found that a moderate amount of cannabis actually improved driving performance among those they studied. Results from another recent study apparently also show that people drive both faster and safer while under the influence of the drug. A group of 20 drivers aged 21-40 were recruited for the Burnout study, all of whom had not previously owned a video games machine or described themselves of players of video games. Ten of them smoked approximately 0.15 milligrams of cannabis, …

I am a member here, but I'd prefer to remain anonomous as its a touch humiliating I'm wondering if any male stoners here, have had any problems with "man-boobs" Now be truthfull here. I've heard it can happen but not really anything substantial. Now I dont know if I'm just really paranoid and its just that I'm getting a little chubby, but I sware its like I'm getting tits on my chest. My guts gotten a bit bigger too but I've been as skinny as a rake my whole life. I've been smoking just over 5 years and I wouldn't call myself a huge smoker, just a few grams a week, and I'm 20 years old so a little young to be getting saggy man tits I'm wondering if its caused by hor…

sex on drugs

personally, in my opinion and experience, when one smokes a large volume of weed, the straight/stoned line becomes blurred, and once this happens, laziness sets in. this is the general rule for most people i know anyway. so, i think pot definetely has the the potential to reduce sex drive. i know i've turned down my girl because i've been ripped out of my melon many a time. and so has she. on the other hand, for somebody who doesn't smoke a great deal, the effects are different. when i first started smoking, things that i liked whilst straight became 200 times more enjoyable whilst stoned - including erotic thoughts/acts. the erotic thought when high, i think, is absol…
