A large cannabis crop worth more than half a million dollars has been discovered growing in bushland on NSW's far north coast. More than 250 plants were found growing inside aluminium sheds deep in the Tyagarah Nature Reserve at Brunswick Heads. Officers seized the cannabis crop along with much of the equipment used in its cultivation. A Polair helicopter will also be brought in to remove a number of large diesel generators, police said. Detectives are continuing their inquiries to identify and locate those responsible for the crop. The drugs have an estimated street value of more than $500,000.
