During the Fraser government he was the minister for health, the minister for Aboriginal affairs and the minister for education. …

I heard this on ABC Radio National a couple of months back so I had a bit of a search and I haven't seen anyone post this, sorry if it's been posted before. I listen to radio national at work all the time and I'm glad that there are people (people who can't be swept under the carpet of "oh, he's just another pothead") out there talking about this. I know there are some low opinions on cops who after their retirement jump on drug law reform, but put yourself in their shoes. Politically they can't do much while …

By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 1:08 PM on 28th December 2009 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12...is-factory.html Light sapping: police found cannabis being grown with a watering system powered by the street-lamp network Residents in a Lancashire town were so puzzled why the street lamps on their road were so much dimmer than everyone else's, they asked the council if it was experimenting with low-energy light bulbs. But the local authority said the lights on Warrenhurst Road in Fleetwood should be as bright as every other street's. It was only when the police noticed how dim the area was at night that an investigation began. They discovered that…

This article is from 'The West Australian' Newspaper from Nov 13th, i couldnt find the online source so i copy and pasted the article that some kind person typed up Hopefully they still dont go through, but an interesting point brought up by Mongy is that the repeal was just to take attention away from the law that went through allowing police to search without suspicion, which is a disgusting violation of civil rights.

Hey All, 6 days to chrissy Anyway, this story was on lateline last night and it's not regarding weed but rather the swiss herion program. http://www.abc.net.au/lateline/content/2009/s2776476.htm I think its clear proof to those who don't agree with harder drugs being made available to addicts that it can/does work for some people who have exhausted other treatment methods. Hope everyone has a great xmas/new year
