H Everyone.... I apologize for not having been around much lately.... I have been having another rough time. Just got home from the Hospital and am finally starting to feel a bit better.... The last few days have been horrible for me while I have been trying to get ANY relief from the violent pain in my face and head called tic doloureux - (the worst pain known to medicine) by going to Hamilton's McMaster Hospital in Ontario, Canada for relief. After spending many hours there in total and throwing up the entire time from the pain I was the first patient seen, thank GOD! Once in the room, I was asked to take off my shirt so that they could start an IV IMMEDIATELY. It w…

www.thedaktory.org.nz/news/dakta-green-vs-police/ New Zealand Police mounted a three day operation against The Daktory last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. (31st December 2009, 1st and 2nd January 2010) This involved Police parking up the street then following and stopping our members as they left The Daktory. For some reason Police think they have the right to randomly stop and search people and vehicles for no other reason but they were departing The Daktory. “A known cannabis haunt”, according to Police. Unfortunately for Police, their actions are illegal and a formal complaint is being prepared. After suffering this nonsense for 2 days a plan was hatched shou…

Source: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/natio...f-1225815113738 (sigh) , I feel sorry for the bloke , there is definatly something strange going on here. As he says , he is well travelled and knows the laws well , doesn't make sense ... and the fact that it was in a steel tube says alot. You'd have to be the epitomy of a moron to do that , especially these days. I Canna believe It's that strict , anything above 0.15gms is trafficking??? Holy smoke man , what is that ... about 2 small cones worth? At first I read this as "they took my medicine (i.e. Cannabis) away" but soon realized that didn't make sense ... this is very concerning indeed and …

Hope they don;t make an "example" of him. News Link AN AUSTRALIAN man has been arrested at Bali airport after customs officers found two grams of marijuana in his luggage. Robert Paul McJannett, 48, was arrested after arriving in Bali with his adult son on a Virgin Blue flight from Perth on Monday night. Bali police allege Mr McJannett was carrying the marijuana in a plastic bag in socks in his luggage. The head of the Bali Police Drugs Squad, Colonel Kokot Indarto, said police intended to charge McJannett with article 112 of the narcotics law for carrying drugs from abroad, which carries a penalty of more than five years' jail. Source: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/money/m-t...0-1225814219223 Ahem ... More wasted dollars that could be put to much better use in actually helping people with problems ... more bullshit from people who don't seem to understand the logical arguments surrounding "drugs" ... People are going to take drugs as they have done for 1000's of years , It's not going to change. Use services and finances available to support the ones who may develop problems with drug use. It's all a farce and they are still trying to find more ways to demonize it , government funded and therefore biased research will not acheive anything at all remotely positive or constructive. Nicol…

Ex-minister backs illegal drug regulation By Brendan Trembath for PM ABC NEWS Posted Mon Nov 16, 2009 7:02pm AEDT Professor Baume says some groups will oppose his softer approach. (Reuters: Mark Blinch) Former Fraser government minister Peter Baume has endorsed an international report which proposes regulating illegal drugs in the same way as pharmaceuticals. Professor Baume says prohibition has not worked and is only putting tax-free money into the hands of criminals. Professor Baume spent 17 years in the Australian Parliament. During the Fraser government he was the minister for health, the minister for Aboriginal affairs and the minister for education. …

I heard this on ABC Radio National a couple of months back so I had a bit of a search and I haven't seen anyone post this, sorry if it's been posted before. It's a speech given by Norm Stamper at the Festival of Dangerous Ideas in Sydney. He's the former Seattle police chief making sense on the so called war on drugs. I listen to radio national at work all the time and I'm glad that there are people (people who can't be swept under the carpet of "oh, he's just another pothead") out there talking about this. I know there are some low opinions on cops who after their retirement jump on drug law reform, but put yourself in their shoes. Politically they can't do much while …

By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 1:08 PM on 28th December 2009 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12...is-factory.html Light sapping: police found cannabis being grown with a watering system powered by the street-lamp network Residents in a Lancashire town were so puzzled why the street lamps on their road were so much dimmer than everyone else's, they asked the council if it was experimenting with low-energy light bulbs. But the local authority said the lights on Warrenhurst Road in Fleetwood should be as bright as every other street's. It was only when the police noticed how dim the area was at night that an investigation began. They discovered that…
