Hey all, just wondering why my PH is rising so much everyday, from about 5.5 to 6.0-6.2 within 12hrs. I don't let it get higher than this, (it wants to) but i seem to be adding a lot of ph down to keep it under control. Did a flush and water change a few days ago. I could possibly be overwatering, timers 30min on/off because i've got some slight leaf curl on the higher leaves but this may be because of the PH. Any ideas? It's a hybrid aero/nft sytem with 2 seperate rezzys and both are rising. 1st week of flower. Thanks Grow Hard

My beloved first plant is starting to die I think! I started growing in the middle of June from some bagseed a mate picked up in the Phillipines (which apparently was really good shit!). Anyway, it took aaages to germinate, and it is only this tall <see photos link at the bottom> now. The Plant and pics Anyway, the bottom leaves started to become yellow and curl, which I read somewhere was some sort of deficiency. Ok well I know what it's use is in hydroponics but it has to have other purposes, and where else I may be able to get it If your wondering why I need to know I am trying to get the really thick stuff that most hydro shops don't stock and I also want to get a fair amount ( a roll) so I don't wanna be paying hydroshop prices anyways any help is muchly apprieciated

i just planted some seeds and now here an inch high and have four little leaves... they been doing fine for the first 3 days but now there drooping over and laying on the dirt, the leaves however are still green. what do i need to do to get them to stand back up and why did this happen. please help my ladies! thanks

hey ppls after doing great first time out last year has been a disaster since im all out of ideas plants are sickly and tiny yellow n dieing canna flores the ec is 1830 ph 5.8 temp 28 to 32 water temp 25 6 weeks in flower white rhino you know what they say if it ant broke dont fix it but after first grow (see pics) i changed my 3 linked 28L tubs to a single black 80L res with 2 150mm netpots in the lid filled with expanded clay airstone , heater and pump in the res plumbed threw the lid to the netpots then just flows back down should i be running nutes lower or watering less???? using this system as opposed to my old one which worked more like a flood n drain im …

well my plants have been budding for a couple of weeks now and the other day i noticed a good majority of the leaves around the buds were starting to blacken. i dunno if its normal or not, can i get an opinion please. its not bugs or anything.

Hey all, Lights have just come on and for the 2nd night in a row i have found water droplets have been forming along the leaf edges during dark period. Temp sits on 23c lights on and doesnt go under 15c lights off . Humidity sits around 50% during lights on but i dont know what it is during dark period. Is this a problem or will it cause problems? Plants are still healthy as but if this will cause problems further down the track id like to fix it now. Am in first week of 12/12 and am worried this could cause mould problems as buds form. Well I'm up to about the 6th week or so and my 1 and only baby is about 1 meter tall. I am growing in a small cupboard with a 400 watt santiago. Anyways after a lovely evening in the dark and no doubt growing, the lights kicked in and burnt the top of the plant. I have since tied it down. I have left the burnt tips for now, should I cut em off ???

hey there one of my plants has keiled over, its stem was hollow most of the way down, the rest seem ok. Does anyone know if this is pest/disease related even nute related, igot no idea. using dutch master grow nutes , 400w son t any ideas would be much appriciated

Checked my plants tonight and noticed that the soil was realy hard looking,tried to jam my finger in,but met more resistance than what i think i should have,SO,i got the garden fork,the hand things with the 3 prongs,and give them a bit of adig around. I watered straight after and niticed that it seemed to absorb more,less water drained out. Two questions: 1. Did i do the right thing ? 2. Do any other growers do this to their plants ? Hey i have been growing 3 plants using hydro for about three months now and everything was going good. Now on two of the plants the bottom leaves are starting to fade to a lighter green and some are real light green with darks green blotches scatter on the leaves...and they are dropping and dying.....anybody have any ideas?....the method used is three pots in a single tub of nutrients with ropes going down to the water, the roots have also grown through and are in the water for all the plants....nice and big with purple stems and beautiful and i don't want them to go to waste.....someone please HELP ME
