My beloved first plant is starting to die I think! I started growing in the middle of June from some bagseed a mate picked up in the Phillipines (which apparently was really good shit!). Anyway, it took aaages to germinate, and it is only this tall <see photos link at the bottom> now. Heya kids! Bit of a newbie here today, and a newbie at growing too! I'm working on my first few plants and things seem to be going pretty well. However recently I've been getting some yellowing of some leaves, particularly on new growth. I'm a bit stuck as to what exactly the cause could be and I'm hoping someone may be able to help out. Current setup/situation: 3 plants grown from seed. Closet setup with a 400W HPS lamp, foil on walls two fans (one in, one out). 18/6 hours light. Plants seem to be getting dry every day or two now and I've been watering them as such (too much?). I've been using some fertiliser called "Charlies Carp" with most waterings (too much?). …

Ok well I know what it's use is in hydroponics but it has to have other purposes, and where else I may be able to get it If your wondering why I need to know I am trying to get the really thick stuff that most hydro shops don't stock and I also want to get a fair amount ( a roll) so I don't wanna be paying hydroshop prices anyways any help is muchly apprieciated

i would have taken a picture but have no camera atm but for my current grow im using a 400watt hps, have ducks offspring, skunk red hair, ak-47 and white russian growing.... the ducks offspring and skunk red hair are BOTH going yellow but the weird thing is its only the leaves that are at the bottom of the plants that are not getting much light....the WR and AK only sprouted yesterday but im hoping that this is a problem i can fix b4 i have to transplant them oh and im growing in soil purchased from Big W...when yellowing started appearing i used cocoa grow hydroponic vege nutes at 1/2 strength but still the leaves continued to yellow...although it did make the to…

Hi All I have four plants, seedling really, that seemed to be doing fine until a couple of days ago. I had germed them in doors and then potted them, kept them in a crib and then put them under my lights, 600 HPS at a good distance away. I ask the question about doing this and Ferengi420 said he does this all the time. So I thought I'd give it a go. But then this started to happen...... I've now put them under the CF again and back in the crib. They've been here for the past 24 hours and have not got any worse but don't seem to have got any better. Ok here goes, My plants are upto their 4th set of leaves (innit cute). And im seeing white spots on the 1st and 2nd sets, Is this good or bad? Im hoping to harvest these two for a good sesh mid next year.. If _anyone_ can help me out here, it'd be muchly needed. J, SA.

Any cure towards this little pest? Its a black tiny little thing with a yellowish-redish dot, They have been around my poppys for sevral days now and have just moved onto my plant.. Any idea of this bug/Cure .. It would be muchly appriciated. -J

i just planted some seeds and now here an inch high and have four little leaves... they been doing fine for the first 3 days but now there drooping over and laying on the dirt, the leaves however are still green. what do i need to do to get them to stand back up and why did this happen. please help my ladies! thanks

hey ppls after doing great first time out last year has been a disaster since im all out of ideas plants are sickly and tiny yellow n dieing canna flores the ec is 1830 ph 5.8 temp 28 to 32 water temp 25 6 weeks in flower white rhino you know what they say if it ant broke dont fix it but after first grow (see pics) i changed my 3 linked 28L tubs to a single black 80L res with 2 150mm netpots in the lid filled with expanded clay airstone , heater and pump in the res plumbed threw the lid to the netpots then just flows back down should i be running nutes lower or watering less???? using this system as opposed to my old one which worked more like a flood n drain im …

Hi Oz stoners,When you first use a bag of perlite and flush b4 putting clones in what should the EC be (Truncheon) or do i just adjust the Ph,I have a choice of rain(0.0 EC) or tap water(0.2 EC) but am told tap is better,should you start in big pots or small and transplant if using rooted clones,Can you use tap water straight away or do you need to let it sit for 24 hours?PEACE

Hey all, Lights have just come on and for the 2nd night in a row i have found water droplets have been forming along the leaf edges during dark period. Temp sits on 23c lights on and doesnt go under 15c lights off . Humidity sits around 50% during lights on but i dont know what it is during dark period. Is this a problem or will it cause problems? Plants are still healthy as but if this will cause problems further down the track id like to fix it now. Am in first week of 12/12 and am worried this could cause mould problems as buds form.
