hi recently ordered some beans and got the out door mix, my question is can i grow them in a box that is about 50 cm tall and just keep it on 12/12 so it stunts the growth? oh the box is powered by a 105 watt cfl

hi guys can anyone give me some advise on trimming my plant. i am 3 weeks vegging and 1 week in to flowering. what leaves do i cut of and does it do any harm to the plant. i know i have to thin it for the light to get to the bottom but dont know if im taking branches of that will be producing bud. also is it right that when you start the 12/12 cycle the plants will double or even trble in size ? any help would be good. thanks.

Hey People, First post and just have to say kudo's to the moderators and any one else involved with this site..... im addicted. After seeing what my mate grew on his balcony last month and smoking it with delight, Ive realized ive been wasting money on crappy hydge that I never want to smoke again. Hi again everyone!! I'm back I haven't posted for over a year, in that time I have had a few successful grows in my RDWC Cabinet setup But I haven't been using the scrog screen or external reservoir until now. I have made some additions to the system, I have added a water chiller to keep my nutrient a consistent 22C, a more powerful submersible pump to push the nutrient up through the chiller and into the growing reservoir and an additional air pump to oxygenate the nutrient in the external reservoir. ...So basically I'm back to leech some more valuable advice and feedback from the infinite wisdom of Ozstoners!!! Hi all, I'm obviously new to all this and am in the stages of planning my first grow I've been reading and following a few indoor grow diaries, watching video's and doing as much research as possible. I feel like I'm about ready to get started however I have a few questions regarding how I'll have this setup and would really like to get some opinions... This is just a personal project, so I'm not that worried about yields yet - I'd rather know that I can actually grow something without it dieing as I'm not much of a gardener (yet!). I'm new to this site, hi. I have previously dabbled (not particularly successfully) with growing before moving to Oz, and was using a hydroponic setup in a wardrobe. I'm now keen to try an outdoor grow, say in a pot on the balcony of my top floor apartment, and am after some advice from people that have used the same kind of setup(s) that I am thinking about. How can I avoid detection? How do I cover my ass when the landlord rocks up to check the apartment? What is a good soil to use? These are the kinds of questions that I have... Howdy, pretty sure its up to week 7 of flower but they still seem pretty small. I may have really miss calculated the time here or just forgotten by the looks of it. There's that and i think the cold has really slowed them down a bit too. Im in a 6 foot tent big enough for 2 plants with an oscilating fan and heat chord around the pots for a little extra warmth. Hi guys, after much discussion with my missus and getting sick of buying weed all the time my missus decided i can grow my own aslong as its 'discreet', found this neat little setup on gumtree inside a barfridge so i ended up buying it ended up costing me a quarter and $50:) now i havent grown before so i find this all a new learning curve , i've posted pics of the way i currently have it setup however i am a little paranoid of how much heat the light puts out, ( im yet to get a thermometer in there probly a really good idea but) i've got a little plant growing from some bagseed, i think ill experiment abit with bagseed before i go ordering online, i'm not to sure …

I've been doing a bit of reading about flushing Alot of nutrient manufactures are saying you need to do it once a week, this seems rather overkill. My setup has a 90L res connected to 5 x 20L buckets thats a metric shit tonne of high quality premium priced nute water to throw away every week. whats the take? i'm thinking of doing a proper flush every 4 - 6 weeks as it is going to be quite difficult due to my setup (max floor space for flowering = little moving room) Do you see dramatically different results in plants that is flushed regularly? do the nutrients degrade left in the water? Hey all I'm a novice grower and was thinking of trying out Low Stress Training on a couple of Barney's LSDs in my 125w CFL equipped closet. Has anyone tried this technique? Is it quite effective for utilising pot space and achieving a larger yield? Cheers in advance
