So i got some seeds off a friend and i put them in this season, only to find out just now after all the hard work has basically been done that they came from a plant that was a hermie... so i have 3 plants, they havnt shown sex, but from what i have heard/read, the seeds from a hermie are normally always also hermies.. so question is what should i do? just keep them all growing or wat? if i keep them heathy will they still be alright to smoke apart from the fact there are seeds? cheers, wiz

I moved into a new home a few months back and immediately set about preparing a vegie garden. In the process I discovered some cannabis shoots, obviously remnants of the previous tenants (blessings to you!). So I thought I'd let them grow, not having grown the good herb before, and now their towering above the roof guttering and I'm not sure what to do with them from this point. They are about 14 /15 weeks old, growing in the ground, and nestled amongst the tomatoes and snake beans. The soil is rich and volcanic. I turned it over before planting and dug in some green manure and compost, with a layer of mulch on top. Each fortnight I fertilise modestly with worm juice and …

So I need to speed up my grow as I'm moving soon. I've constructed an "outdoor dark room" (for the want of a better description) out of a table and some black bags so I can trick my plants into thinking it's 12/12 time. What I want to know is, if after a couple of weeks of 12/12 the plants start flowering, can I stop putting them in the dark room or will the extra light stop them from flowering? The seeds I used are White Diesel Feminised Indica X if that makes a difference. Thanks

Recently I moved from a bush block to a pair of suburban quarter-acre blocks with a house on one of them; the second block grows the food garden which is substantial. Been here about four years now. Initially I built a 1200 x 1200 x 2400 grow room and over the first years boosted the light input from 400wHPS to now, a pair of 600W in cool tubes. This does a great job BUT it is energy intensive and a $900+ hydro bill/quarter (for all uses including the grow lights and heat in the grow room) is a bit painful to a pair of oldies. Last winter I conceived of a method to grow indoor varieties outdoors. Someone on this list called it a Light Restriction grow. We built a box t…

Hey all, I'm thinking about starting a small grow like 2-3 plants outdoors in Melbourne, is it too late to be thinking about this? Indoors is not really a option due to the whole set up and having parents come visit etc

Hi lads and ladies, I just signed up and I'm trying to find information on growing outdoors in Central Australia (close to Coober Pedy). I have already attempted this feat with one plant starting in a pot and moving it to a remote location (motorbikes.... so useful). It gets real hot here and due to New Years celebrations and the aftermath I was unable to water it for 3 days and it fried in the mid 40 degree heat. I've planted 3 more now but would like some pointers on enriching the soil (dug a hole and put potting mix in). I've got some Dynamic Booster for roses, maybe if i sprinkle that around the soil? I got no idea, sorry, this is my first time growing any sort of pla…
