Im bloody tired of carrying water uphill from the creek. I know nothing about pumps but from what I read on posts here you experienced growers hide a pump at your grow show and carry in a battery at watering times. Heaps for sale on ebay but I have no clue what I should be looking for. Im going to be pumping up hill about 200 meters. I want to carry the pump between different locations. Any advice on brands, models, size etc would be much appreciated

Hey guys and girls a question for you .I have just topped (last week) my 2 girls and removed the big leaves to let some sun to the lower branches and they were a foot high last week .now they are 2 foot and bushy again should I keep topping them or just leave them to run their race ? Tempted to go again but don.t want to stunt them .

Heya, I have a mate renting a house and we were discussing the possibilities of using chemicals to keep his plant in flower. It has started flowering already, but since he is moving house before the time of a normal harvest, he is interested in what is available. The other best idea we had was covering it with a big plank of chipboard to resuce the light intensity. Cheers, P87

Lot of good postings here and info, so I might just barge in....I started my outdoor grow early (SE Qld)and a couple of girls well and truly in bud, but now from the very top they're startin to shoot up, growth wise, like they are re-veging...is that possible? what will happen to the bud that is there? will they continue to mature? is it possible to bud, reveg and bud again?...I haven't done any pinching or pruning, and seeds sprouted early August...

Hey all, Given the bizarre tropical type weather here in Victoria especially in the Upper Yarra region, would it be to late to get a reasonable harvest of any seeds I plant now? Would making some sort of hothouse to raise the seedlings in be beneficial? Any advise is greatly appreciated! Rob

So my 2nd grow show is quite a drive away, and I never know exactlty whats happening weather wise. I keep an eye on the local weather station website and was trying to workout exactly how many millimeters of rain is considered a good watering? Im expecting a wet december, jan and feb thanks to la nina. What do you bushies reckon is a decent enough rainfall in a week to save me a trip and fuel money

Greetings friends, Let me start by saying thank you for all the information contributed to this site and apologizing if I'm asking redundant questions! Firstly I'm a casual smoker who has trouble finding a supply so I'm looking to start my own small crop, however, the indoor hydro route is not an option due to lack of space. So this leaves me with outdoors. I haven't been able to find too much information regarding outdoor growing because I'm going to assume it's not as.. efficient as growing it under artificial lighting and such. Going off the information I have been able to glean from various sources this is the general process that would be advantageous to me un…

Hey all! So I got some seeds off a mate. Put them in some damp chux cloth to germinate. And today, one of them has a root coming out of it!!! So I went out into the garden, turned some earth over, and popped that little bad boy in. I'm not really expecting to get a bumper harvest off this one, I'm doing it more so I can get a few clones, hopefully female and just to test it out for the first time! So I guess I am a virgin grower. Wish me luck guys!

1. With all this wet weather in SE Queensland, and in terms of my outdoorsys, what diseases, fungi are possible? I've got some girls in bud and I'm worried they'll catch somethin' and go off... 2. Thinking of growing a male just out of curiosity....planted it about 500 mtrs down hill and separated by light rain forest from my girls....is that far enough away? I presume the male pollen only travels by wind...

Ive recently spent quite a bit of cash on feminised seeds and they all germinated and are going well in the bush. Lately Ive doing lots of research on the strains Im growing and looking at overseas grow diaries etc and I keep hearing about feminised plants turning hermaphrodite due to certain stresses (heat, nutrients, taking cuttings) outdoors. Any of you guys grown fem seeds outdoors with great success? Or am I really going to have to watch for hermies in flowering? Im super dissapointed to read these reports as I was certain Id get a 100% sensi crop. It seems alot of growers now prefer regular seeds, starting to wish id done my research earlier.
