Easter 2011

For outdoor crops harvest is usually the easter weekend. Last year it was the start of april. This year easter is at the end of april.Was wondering if the harvest will move to the end of april and follow easter wekend or be early in april? Dont have a planting calendar which may help. Any ideas?

They're ready when they're ready, man. Depends on strains, conditions, all kindza crap...

Get a microscope or magnifying glass and check the trichomes for colour/maturity.

Judging when to harvest outdoors can be a little difficult using a microscope as the trichs can go brown before the plant is ready to harvest.

I find it best to look at the stigmas (hairs)and the calyx. when the stigmas are 50/50 and the calyx are nice and plump you can harvest or you can let it go till most hairs are brown depending what you are looking for. Dont let them go to the extreme.
