Hey Everyone I'm starting this thread coz we all have to water our babies. We wanna hear how you do it, eg drippers, buckets, taps, rivers, etc. This is a problem that faces many a grower (me included!!) every year so post your method and help your fellow growers. Peace Out, Tazwhacker

G'day everyone, I'm wanting to do my first grow and i understand that right now is the time to plant outdoors. I'm thinking about pick and mix some seeds. With my no experience I'm wanting to know what would you guys want to grow outdoors. I'm looking for the normal simple things, big yield and good tasting buds. Just looking for something that's easy to grow and likes the outdoors. I've had white widow bud before and i really liked that smoke. Would that like the outdoor qld environment? Thanks in advance everyone, this site is a great read.

G'day Troops. I Checked on my last 2 big plants this morning, all was fine. I took the dog for her morning walk and went out for about an hour, taking the dog with me in the car, to do some shopping etc and came home. I went down the back and fuck it, some scum bag has ripped my last 2 plants. They came over the back fence, I can see where they placed a ladder or whatever to access my yard, they must have come when we weren't home other wise my dog would have ripped them. But believe me the clown over the back is in for some rigorous interrogation. I heard him talking to a chippie, who was working there, the other night, discussing my plants so the hammer will…

So after about 8 weeks of flowering under 6x24w cfl's, due to some pretty strange and scary circumstances, my two girls had to go. Not worth risking my freedom for tho I guess, anyway I couldn't bare to get rid of them completely, so they have moved outdoors to a safer location, but down South we have had horrible weather and even frost for the past week. I have checked them once and they are definitely being over watered thanks to the rain and the frost isn't helping things! What i wanted to ask was IF they survive these few weeks, how will they cope with the shift from flower back to veg and how will this affect the end product?? Any advice appreciated!

Firstly if this has been answered anywhere please let me know as I have not been able to find it. I'm interested to know how those who grow Outdoor who start their plants of Indoor, transition the plants light schedule from Indoor to Outdoor, as in 18/6 or 24 to the shorter days of outdoor. Now I personally just let mine go from 18/6 into whatever the natural outdoor time is (which is a hell of a lot less hours than 18) which obviously kicks the plant into flower. The plant goes to flower for a little and then eventually realises the days are getting longer and reverts to veg. However does anyone actually know how to avoid the plant going to flower? I have tried research…

Hi, I couldn't find anything about this on google or using search so ill go right ahead and ask. This will be my first grow, outdoors. I'm wondering if it's possible to grow mother plants from seeds right now, let them grow outdoors and have them ready for cloning by the start of the season (sep-oct)? How mature do the mother plants have to be to start cloning? Is this possible, or do they HAVE to be grown indoors under lights? I ask because growing indoors isn't an option for me. Cheers

hi, I am in Oz from oktober to april. Is it possible to grow this time in the NSW area? Is it easy to find outdoor places? I prefer blue mountain or nimbin area. Is there enough water (rain) for growing outdoors? Thanks a lot. Robin

hey folks. just wondering if anyone would be able to give me some pointers as to what strains are likely to go well outdoors in tasmania... so from what i have read Im better off to stick to something that is indica dominate so the flowering period is shorter so i defs get a nice mature harvest before it gets to chilly? also keeping in mind that it is my second outdoor grow and have limited experience. i plan to buy some seeds off a website due to last years bag seed being really disappointing. also if there are any Tassy heads onboard that are prepared to share a seed bank that has successfully got the product here id appreciate a private message regarding a recommended …
