hey all. i have been growing both indoors and outdoors for a couple of years now. lately its been more of an indoor venture but my housing arrangements are going to change shortly and growing indoors wont happen for another couple of months. however, i still have a little while left. not too long though so i have come up with a little bit of a plan to make the best of the time i have left. i'll be deconstructing my grow room and storing all the gear at a mates place(essentially giving it to him but hes like my brother so whatever). the room will then be set up purely for rooting clones. im not sure how many cuttings i am going to accomodate but ill think of that when i n…

Hi OzStoners, first post on these forums! I'm preparing for a stealthy outdoor grow this season. I've never grown anything in my life, hardly a cannabis plant, so I'm very green If all goes well, I shall be growing six plants this season, three Feminized Super Skunk and three Feminized Pure Power Plant. I plan to dig six holes, fill them with a good soil mix, and plant them; the soil mix is where I'm having trouble. I planned to have square holes 60cm x 60cm x 45cm, which works out to be around 162L of soil mix per plant, or 973L total. I'm aiming for an 80/20 mix of Yates Premium Potting Mix to Perlite, and around 200grams of dolomite lime in each hole with some c…

First of all can i say thank god theres a place pretty much dedicated to Aussies I wish i found you all years ago, and am looking forward to chatting to you guys ! Ive been busy prepairing my biggest grow yet down here in Victoria, im gonna impress you all this year. My main question is what could be the earliest time I could put plants out without stressing or stunting their growth down here? I have some good lights that i can use indoors until around the last week of september, then i have two greenhouses i can pop the plants out into for a few weeks... But is the end of september too early to be putting them out in the greenhouses? Or would i be better waiting furth…

Hey, I've dug five 2ft x 2ft holes for planting, however some of the holes have roots from trees or nearby shrubs going into them. I've chopped all the roots in the hole, but some still are poking in. Just wondering if this is going to be a problem ? Will the roots fight with my female's roots? Also, one of the holes has water pooling in the botom - it's not much but if I dig down any more it would be heaps. It's the right depth hole at the moment - can I still fill it up with soil and plant there? Thanks

Hi, I will be germinating my seeds in paper towel and then putting them in small styrofoam noodle cups (about 600ml) with Debco seedling mix. My question is, what should I do when the seedlings pop out from the soil? I don't have any lights to grow them inside... should I just take them outside at the start of the day, and bring them in at night? We've got a small greenhouse thing with shadecloth over the top, but I'm not sure how much sun gets in there. Also, when do I transplant from the small styrofoam cups to the ground? How do I make sure the plant doesn't get rootbound too badly? Thanks

Hi Guys, Fronting court next week after getting done for cultivation. My lawyer told me to pack my toothbrush as I will most likely get 6 to 12 months. It will be my first time inside and at 33 and only a skinny 75kgs Id like a bit of advice from those who have experienced life inside. How is the best way to behave to avoid trouble / being stood over / sexual assault etc. Any advice from those who have experienced life inside would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hey all ! I began to germinate my seeds about a week ago with the plan of growing them under my 400 watt HPS lamp for about a month and then popping them out towards the end of September ... Today I went to use the lamp Which hasn't been in action for about a year, all was well for about 3 minutes when the power outlet (ballast?) started sparking and quickly caught fire . Scared the shit out of me but lucky I was still in the room to put it out ! Now I'm stuck with all my baby's and unsure of where to go from here . I have another one of the power box things but am a bit paranoid of the same thing happening again , would it be safe to try ? Otherwise I was wonder…

Hi all, Last growing season a mate gave me some seeds from South Australia and I planted them around here in western Victoria, they didnt grow so well and very slowly. So my question is what would be the best strain for a beginner grower in western victoria. Taking into consideration of yield and quality of the bud as well.. Cheers.

Hey everybody, im planning to start growing this year but I do not know when the season is for sydney. I got a bag full of seeds from a mate which said that they'll be plenty to grow. But i only want to have around 1 plant, maybe 2 the most. Well this is my first time growing and I really dont know what to do because I though that they are like regular plants but by looking around for guides etc, they look pretty confusing as I saw that you need different types of soils, mixtures etc. Also does anybody know if people will be able to find out, as im pretty paranoid if neighbours might see it or smell it by accident. Thanks.

Hi, I'm preparing for an outdoor grow - I'll be planting 5 Pure Power Plants - and I'm just wondering how big the holes should be? My plan was for 3ft wide x 1.5ft deep each hole, and fill it up some some soil I purchased from a local nursery - so far I have carted around 500L of the stuff to my guerilla spot out of 1200L, it's very hard work! (The other 300L is perlite which I already have out there). I was just wondering if these holes are the right size. I know soil is something that shouldn't be skimped out, and I want to grow monsters Also, I'm thinking about carting dog shit from our dogs out to the site whenever I go out there, will this keep kangaroos / wal…

Hey guys, For this years crop I want to keep my presence around it to a minimum. So for a watering system I'm thinking a 240L wheelie bin, with a tap fitted at the bottom. I think you can purchase these, but I'm just going to make my own. Off the tap I'm going to have an electronic tap timer which you can set to water for the amount of time you want each day. Or every few days. These systems are about $50 or less off eBay for a quality one. I'll also need hose or pipe coming off the tap to the various plants. Is this a good idea? Just want to know if there's any flaws in my planning really. Cheers (:
