Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been here Haven't been growing for a couple of years with family additions and house moving playing into it! I've had quite a few successful grows indoors in the past and loved growing in hydro. But now with much more space and some prime north sun facing yard I'm going to venture in to outdoors. I've been doing a lot of reading but finding so much contradicting info and when it's relating to other climates across the other side of the world it's hard to know what to follow. I wanted to avoid posting incase I'm going over stuff already covered but as this site had helped me immensely in the past I figured ill ask! Basically …

Hey OZ Stoners, so joined up the other week & loving what I've seen & learnt already here. I've only ever grown outdoor whenever I can get my hands on a seed or two so not every year. Probably will start ordering online now every year. Planted 7 seeds this year & four sprouted. The first two are from one mate & the other two are from another. Number 3 pic went straight from pot to the tank at the third Node & you can see the difference. Done some LST with them all as I cant really have monsters in my backyard with four growing. I have no idea of strain. Unfortunately I work away so the Mrs is left to tend when Im at work. Currently Im away & she se…

Hello all decided to make a grow log as I think it'll be beneficial to gain some experience off you guys as I go! First of all the medium is Yates potting mix with dynamic lifter + perlite of a 75/25 ratio for regular plant and a 50/50 ratio for the autoflowers. All are in 20L deep buckets with holes drilled in the bottom and sides. Autos were planted in the centre with some seed raising mix bout a fist-size deep to get em going. My regular seed is abit older and has survived a fair bit of trauma as I was a noob and planted it in some shitty soil but its survived and doing quite well now in my opinion. My regular seed came from a mates chronic strain which he thinks …

Finally some buds that look ok. Just wondering, how brown do they need to get before I harvest? Any ideas on how long too? Thanks everyone.

After researching Autos and taking in everything I have read I decided to try a Dark Devil. Today is day 4 since germination and it's looking pretty tough already. It's in a 20 ltr pot using 1 quarter matured chook shit, 2 qtr seasol potting mix and 1 qtr high quality garden soil. I've read plenty about growing autos but being my first shot any input is greatly appreciated. Photo incoming Peace.

Hi, Firstly, I am a complete newbie to growing cannabis. I am not a user, have done in the past recreationally and enjoyed it, but I have never bought any cannabis myself. I got given a couple of seeds from a friend who got them from someone else. I thought it would be good fun for me to try and grow them rather than chuck them out and I have been really enjoying the hobby so far. Attached are pictures of my baby. I cant tell you what the strain is or many other particulars which I reckon you want to know, but I am here to learn. I put it in some Osmocote potting mix around Father's Day weekend (in a smaller pot than it is now) and have given it some Powerfeed Pla…

My black destroyer plant is quite small, but I have been vaping little nuggets freshly picked, and was surprised at how potent it was. My camera is shit, so I'm not going to bother posting photos unless folk really wanna see blurry shots... I have about a week left until its completely ripe. I am currently stoned off my tree from one little pipe of 3 day dry black destroyer. I chose this strain because it was supposed to grow large and have high THC. The size didn't eventuate, i probably will get an oz all up. I do think the size may have been due to it growing in my vegie garden amongst other plants - I'm into companion planting and I discovered that Jerusalem Articho…

Hi Everyone, Im venturing into the world of growing some medical grade buds for my insomnia and chronic pain. Im trying auto flowers in a cabinet grow and are going .... ok.... Just curious, Im in the far north qld area, i know its late but the days are still 13 hrs at least and its warm still for another 3 months. I want to vege under 80w CFL then introduce to outdoors. Problem is i cant really get any DIRECT sunlight around my house that is stealthy enough for people not to notice. At most i can get maybe 3 hours on my balcony OR can get the full day under a rainforest/bush canopy that sheds some light but nothing direct constantly. Are there strains good …

Hello guys 'n girls, First of all, I'm sorry if this is the wrong subforum. I didn't really know where to place this since it crosses in and outdoor... I've been doing some research and am keen to start my own grow. A quick overview of my situation: - Middle of Sydney - Densely populated apartment block on a high level - North-facing balcony, well shielded from rain and wind - Small studio apartment As you can gather, stealth and space are important, which is why I'm not going for huge high-yielding plants. If I can reap a bud or two for personal use every now and then, I'd be a happy camper. My expectations in regards to yield are well in check. My…

Hey guys I never thought I'd say this but the plants are too damn big! Does anyone have any idea on how I could potentially hide them? They're a good 9-10ft tall with at least another month to go before I could even think about harvesting. Sorry for the crappy pics, It's hard to get a good angle.

Hi, My little plant is in flower. She is only small but coming along well. I kept her in a 20cm till now on purpose as I only have a small grow area and I want to keep her small. I just potted up to 30cm in the weekend to ensure she was not root bound. Turned out she was ok, but I am glad she has more room now as we hit the home stretch. How often should I be feeding with powerfeed, seasol and potash. I have been feeding weekly but reading here some feed daily. Can I really up the feeding now she is in flower to get maximum yield ? I don't want to over cook her. What ratio would you feed in a 2l watering can? And how often? Before anyone says I should get somethin…

Hi, I just noticed that my backyard is quite illuminated by a light out on the road. Not major just more light up than moonlight. Would this have an adverse effect?
