Good afternoon everybody, I live on the Gold Coast, and, knowing that bongs are illegal here, does anyone know where I can buy a good glassy from? They have those Water Pourers at Off Ya Tree and they have to be the worst quality bong ever designed. I'm willing to go down to northern N.S.W, any ideas? Cheers

remembering poking around the cupboard the other day there was one of those small 40W incandescent globes in there. It not having another use I thought I might repurpose it. It's one of those ~40mm globes on a standard bayonet fitting. A hacksaw took the top of the bayonet fitting off between the glass and the 'spikes' of the bayonet. A screwdriver was then used to break the filament holder. A tip seen from a link caused me to put a couple of teaspoons of salt in the globe and shake buggery out of it to clean the interior surface, and rinse thoroughly. I’ve never had the chance to smoke cannabis in so many ways, than recently, I was introduced to the world of Bongs. After making the choice to ditch the metal cone and stem in favour of glass (though i still love snapping cones)I spent the weeked making this little gem, i will try my best to give you as detailed instructions as possible. First i bought the vase from a thrift store for $2 (two fucking dollars haha) and it had some decorative bamboo string stuff on it and smelled like piss, not to mention the spiders nest in the base of it. Now, I only own one muller, and it's a little wooden one. It sees A LOT of use, seeing as it is my one and only, and because of that, a bit of build-up has occurred. I'm presuming the build up is left over powerdery bits and resins picking up dirt and then going black, but I'm not 100% sure. I tried scraping it off, but it's not coming off easily. I was thinking of soaking it in metho to remove the gunk, but then I thought that because the outside is finished wood and the inside appears to be left pretty natural, would the metho ruin the finish/get soaked up by the unfinished?
