I'm growing in the Nortern hemisphere at 48 Latitude,outdoors,very close to the sea.The patch is three years in the same place,in full sun,big holes full of potting mix ,seaweed and dynamic lifter,irrigated from the house. The strain is 100% Indica,so usually they should'nt get too tall,but I've got neighbours very close so a 2m plant is way too tall. Hi,Just wondering how many people are using PERLITE,How often do you water the perlite?After 12 hours in 18 lt pots at 25/26 C they still feel heavy :scratchin And when i squash a piece of perlite from the bottom theres still alittle water inside of it?When i poke finger in the drain holes i can still feel water....?HELP Was told perlite can be watered every 3 hours in a run to waste THANKS

Can someone recommend a good scource of additional Phosphorous and Potasium additive for use in Hydro. Im noticing that the fan leaves on my latest crop are starting to turn purple with about 4 weeks to go before harvest.

hello Everyone, and anyone. I am going to try growing for the first time, and want to get some input form those that know. I want to grow somthing like 4 plants indoors. I am going to make a box out of cardboard (try to make no light come out as much as possible), line it with foil. I have a 500w halogen floodlight, but it gets very hot. What I would like to know is how tall should I make the box, and what's the min distance should I keep the top of the plants from the light. And, is 4 plants enough, too much for this light. How many fans do I need. Also, can I just use regular fans that I can get at any store? and should I just blow the fan at the light to cool…

My clones are finally under 600w… (their is an end in sight to my semi-perpetual dryness) I’m using rock wool/coco (lack of $) should they be watered directly onto the rockwool or around it or? Seems if I were to water directly on the rockwool the roots would become water logged.
