Umm, PK13-14?

http://www.canna-uk.com/dhtml/products_additives_pk1314.php

PK 13-14 is a dynamic flowering super-booster that will totally amaze you. It is an extremely concentrated formulation containing a carefully balanced and integrated blend of pure phosphorous and potassium elements for superior flowering results. This unique combination of elements can be called a super-bloomer that develops heavier, larger, sweeter crops extremely quickly. PK 13-14 has been proven by professional growers worldwide to increase the weight of your floral harvest significantly, crop after crop. Unlike substandard potash products, PK 13-14 has a guaranteed composition of 13% P205 and 14% K20. PK 13-14 is totally unique, absolutely safe, easy to use and incredibly effective. PK 13-14 is not a nutrient. It is a nutrient additive. A proven product that every grower should be using.

Yeah, thanks for that.....I was thinking about using PK13-14 but I dont usually go by what the manufactured says, I rely on the guys here who have hands on experience with a product.

Sounds like a good thing, I'll give it a try. :thumbsup

hey buddy,

What strength are the a+b nutes as the purpling maybe first signs of overfert...it could also be water temp being too low... Pk13-14 is a good additive id use it at 3rd week full strength or half strength for two weeks .. theres also a additive by nulife called adds weight 14-28 thats another good one.. use as directions .. hope that helps you some

The ppm is kept between 1000 and 1200 and water temp at 26c except for when I do a nutrient change, the water takes about 24 hours to go from 20c back up to 26c. I usually change nutes every 10 days and the outcome so far has been big dense buds......maybe the on coming cold weather could have something to do with it as you have suggested, I live in the blue mountains area and temps are now getting down to single digit numbers overnight.

Lights are on between 8am to 8pm, I cant run the fan at night, it annoys the neighbours so lights on at night is out of the question.

The purple stems on the fan leaves dont seem to be having any adverse effects on the plants so far but I still like to work out the problem, somethings not right somewhere.

Heavyweight 13-15 or PK 13-14.

The best method for recirc with this product I've seen used is as follows. Using at start of flowering for 5-7 days, 1ml/L with your nutrients as well. At approximately 3 weeks from harvest, once again 1ml/L, and once again for 5-7 days, but use alone without bloom nutrients added, but still use other non-nutrient based additives like superthrive, oxyplus, etc... During that time the ec will rise as it is recylced, and should the ec reach 2.0, you should dilute it below this point, or else the P and K will begin to precipitate out and you lose the effect. It could also cause other plant problems if used excessively for too long.

The anthocyanin expression is more likely an effect of sulphur than p and k, although this can be a contributing factor. Given you live in a cool district, it could just be cold growing traits coming out as well.

Aaaanyway, hope that helps with the P and K...

But on the fans... you need to find some way to run the fan constantly, or you're going to have serious mould problems later on in the crop. The humidity levels will skyrocket if you have a warm, but well ventilated room turned into a cold, unventilated space. Air can hold more water at high temps, and less at cold.

You can make a silencer of sorts by getting a small length of acoustic ducting and enclosing the fan, and then lengths of acoustic duct around the inlet and outlet. This substantially reduces sound of even the largest centrifugal fan, and could even be made more soudproofed through boxing and further insulating the inside of the surrounding container.

But yeah, you NEED ventilation throughout the night and day cycle.

and bro -

26 is way to hot 4 ya nutes mate - i bet you got some fungal disease on ya roots, locking out your nutes and turning your roots brown, which is causing your plants leaves to turn purple as it looking for more PK.

Aim for a water temp of 21 with +- of 1 degree. Cheap water heater just will not cut it mate.

Run some microabial or phyoff through your system to sterilize it.

Easy way 2 check mate is have a look at your roots and look what colour they are. Brown = disease = nute deficiency
