Wet Weight versus Dry Weight 1 2

I recently got into a convo with someone regarding dried bud weight versus initial wet weight. My assumption was that you lose 50-60 percent of the weight of the bud going from wet to dry using superbud and probably 60-70 percent without an additive like SB. So I set up a little experiment and got some results which amazed me...and I was waaaaaaaaaay off base.... I weighed up my fully manicured buds wet and then fully dry and my loss in weight was 78%...and these buds were rock solid heavy little suckers not fluffy at all.... I hear people all the time saying (inlcuding myself previously) that you will lose 50-60 percent of your crop...but I have to say this is b…

Went shopping today and got talking to the Hydro guy. I asked him about Bonza Bud which is a hormone to make plants stockier. I think you only use that during the flowering period. I didn't want to buy it becuase I didn't want him to know my plants are close to flowering. I told him I'm growing Chillis and I don't think Chillis would be at a flower stage so soon. So instead I walked out the door with some Nitrozym. He gave me free of charge a 250ml bottle. I don't have the original bottle to read. He told me to use this during veg. Can I use it during flowering?.

I got a problem with a small room that is driving me nuts , good plants show real pale yellow new growth within a couple of days of going in , trust me when I say its not the nutrient or PH and the water supply is the same as another room that is powering without a problem . The only thing I can think of is the plastic nutrient tank which is one of those 200 ltr black bunnings tanks , Im going to empty it tomorrow and throw a liner in it , which will fix it if thats the problem . Have any of you guys ever had problems because of Plastic Phytotoxicty caused by a plastic tank ? Rod

hi i have a batch of nulife powergo nutes (for veg). i got them cheap and i have a feeling there 'used by'. if this possible? they dont have a use by date on them, but the last few crops ive used them the plants show disctinct signs of micronutrient deficiencies late in the veg stage when they are transferred into an intense light environment. i thought the problem was something else but i have narrowed it down to the nutes as since i have changed to a lesser known brand the problem is no longer there. i know nulife is supposed to be a reputable brand so i dont think that there nutes would lack micronutrients so the only thing i can suggest is that the nutes are 'o…

hi all has anyone tried these products? http://www.super-grow.biz/Products.jsp i ordered some various substances from him in canada a few years ago and tried them out. to various degrees of success! havent bothered with em since as i dont think anyone of them really helped me! but its hard to mix em and apply em etc. some are applied as little as 0.1ppm! i found brassinolide to be ok. but honestly no yield increase here is some info i found on an old overgrow thread. its not my posting but ive put it here for info. ive put my comments in italics: GIBBERELLIC ACID (GA3) Probably the best known of the plant hormones. It's produced by the plants tips and…
