General Cultivation Q&A

hi guys, major problem here guys any advice well appreciated. i have just started to grow and after a very promising growth in the first two weeks i came to my plants yesterday and they had all died. pretty much in the space of 24 hrs, they had turned brown at the tips of the leaves and this continued until my babies had shrivelled up and died. My room i 3x1x7ft high with a 600 watt sodium bulb. my medium is just a tomato bag from b and q. as there is limited ventilation this is my main idea for failure. either that or the fact that the soil is very warm????? i really dont understand it. could someone clarify this or am i barking up the wrong tree. i do have a smal…

Hey guys heres a description of my grow: cupboard dimensions 180cm X 90cm X 50cm 400w HPS Passive air intake with 2X 25cm ballbearing ceiling extraction fans 20-25L pot with 100% perlite medium I started the grow from seed which i germed in rock wool cubes and ran at half strength nutes for a week before slowly increasing the strength. The plants are roughly a month old and are being vegged at 18/6 This is my first shot at growing and im more concerned about getting through the grow successfully than yield (although high yield is obviously preferred ) Can anyone tell me a safe amount to water my plant so as that im not at risk of overwatering. hey folks, im very interested in setting up a sea of green flood and drain setup where i get a harvest every 2 weeks, i want to have 2 x 1000w HPS lights. BUT - ive heard about cop helicopters with some infared shit that picks out the HPS/MH lights, i was also wondering, for e.g, my electricity bill is $250 a 1/4.. if i ran 2 x 1000w lights it would bump up huge, do police check electricity bills and check the trippleing in the bills ? let me know cheers

1. To clone my plants when they are vegging, right before i switch to flower. The drawback is that they will be sitting dormant for 2 months while the plants flower and finish up. 2. To clone plants that are flowering to cut down the time they will be sitting around. I would love to have a mother plant, but i just don't have the space or money to get another room going. Can i keep recloning my plants over and over, or will the keep getting less potent/less yield the more i do so? thanks guys

What's the minimum amount of light i would need for a mother and clone room. 1 mother plant and 20 or so clones. I want to go small as possible without having a weak mother. Thanks Id prefer using low wattage lights
