thinking of making a mother / clone room in a 3f by 3f room. I want to have 2 bonsai mothers and room for about 9 vegging plants, and some room for clones. Is this doable in that size?...and... What wattage should i go with? Would i need to go with about 400 or could i get away with 250w? thanks

Just a quick question, I have always pruned my shade leaves before they started to wither also any others that I feel should not be there, some one told me the other day don't, it stresses the plant. I find it also cuts back on my finally trim. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I've been a dirt farmer off and on for some thirty years. Finally this year I've decided to make the move to hydro. So far I've done some plants using wicks which worked quite well, and I have one plant running as a test using the Hempy bucket concept. In case anyone hasn't heard if it, it's the essence of hydro simplicity...a bucket with a hole drilled in the side 2" up. Fill it with whatever media you like...I'm using hydroton. And add nutrients daily till it flows out the hole. No aeration, no pumps. The roots go down into the 2" of solution and suck the solution up before it can go bad. hey, i know how to tell the sex of mullies, until i came across this suspect bastard. these pictures are really bad, so hopefully someone can make something out of them until i get some better shots. also the plant has small flowers that are extremely sus looking, with no real 'white hairs' and has small bud like formations, which have a somewhat club like look to them, but no classic male balls, and has suspect could be pollen sacks? cheers

hi guys, major problem here guys any advice well appreciated. i have just started to grow and after a very promising growth in the first two weeks i came to my plants yesterday and they had all died. pretty much in the space of 24 hrs, they had turned brown at the tips of the leaves and this continued until my babies had shrivelled up and died. My room i 3x1x7ft high with a 600 watt sodium bulb. my medium is just a tomato bag from b and q. as there is limited ventilation this is my main idea for failure. either that or the fact that the soil is very warm????? i really dont understand it. could someone clarify this or am i barking up the wrong tree. i do have a smal…

Hey guys heres a description of my grow: cupboard dimensions 180cm X 90cm X 50cm 400w HPS Passive air intake with 2X 25cm ballbearing ceiling extraction fans 20-25L pot with 100% perlite medium I started the grow from seed which i germed in rock wool cubes and ran at half strength nutes for a week before slowly increasing the strength. The plants are roughly a month old and are being vegged at 18/6 This is my first shot at growing and im more concerned about getting through the grow successfully than yield (although high yield is obviously preferred ) Can anyone tell me a safe amount to water my plant so as that im not at risk of overwatering.
