General Cultivation Q&A

hello i just wonder i have a nice plant in flowering and there is alot of big leafs probably taking lots to keep up and they are blocking light going on the buds can i cut them away so the plant will only have the bud to feed = bigger bud ???if yes how far can i go with the cut can i completly clean the plant of its leaf leaving only the bud or ??

Hey does anyone know of any strains that are dwarfs. Ones that give a reasonable yield but dont grow more than 1.5m??

I have an old bottle of Ozi-tonic in a box and im not really sure if its that good. Im hoping some people have tried it. What do you think of it? Do you think its usable alongside or after pk 13/14? I was told its good for final stages of flowering but not sure why. Im thinking use pk 13/14 for weeks 3-5 of flowering and ozitonic for last few weeks into flush. Is ozi tonic meant to effect flavour size of buds or what. Also it has gibberillic acid in it which i thought causes hermies.

Folks, going to order in a couple of weeks I'm probably going to order Skunk#1 ,Northern Lights (if I got enough $) and a short compact pure Sativa or atleast dominant for breeding. Any pointers on the sativa? potency and good yield a must! I will be researching anyway and I know most sativas are big but there are a few shorty's is there a small version of Durban?Hybrid?That is some good smoke!

gey guys and girls im ozziegreen from the far south east coast of oz . jus wonderin if neone had ne systems for watering there pots in the growspace without bein messy i have trays but its to time consuming to hand water even doing it in the bath.my babies miss out on the light while there drainin out as i hate havin sittin water in there thinkin of run to waste or drip neideas ? ps have learned heaps through u guys time to put it into action 8 wrhinos,3 ozblue and two sensi skunk all at 2.5 wks veg post pics soon

hi all, am about to go with the family to see my folks interstate and am having to leave my garden...the ones in the ground i hope are going to be able to deal with my absence with lots of mulch and some shade for the xmas time sun, the indoor grow however is a bit of a worry, while i could prob ask a mate to come around and water for me while i'm gone it might lead to bad things and aggravation etc. was in bunnings the other day getting some dead bolts and was looking at garden stuff when i saw these items called water spikes or something similar....it read that it will provide water for up to 3 weeks(which is how long i expect to be away), but was wondering if anybody …

As the topic title implies I am doing research for my first grow. As one would expect, as a beginner, I know very little about the marijuana plant. But of course I have hundreds of questions. I am an experienced groundskeeper and a fast learner, though so I feel fully confident in being able to learn a new trade. Ok, so my grow space is going to have to be very very small.
