cut or not to cut

hello i just wonder i have a nice plant in flowering and there is alot of big leafs probably taking lots to keep up and they are blocking light going on the buds can i cut them away so the plant will only have the bud to feed = bigger bud ???if yes how far can i go with the cut can i completly clean the plant of its leaf leaving only the bud or ??

Stripping leaves from a plant is bad.

 

The reason for this is that the leaves provide energy and sugars to the bud/plant which equals growth :-)

 

The only leaves I would suggest removing would be the lower leaves on the plant that do not get much light and are discoloured or dying. This would allow more air flow and light.

you can bend some of the leaves that block light to bud sites out of the way, this is a lower stress method than cutting leaves. chop some if you want. chopping leaves stresses the plant and shouldnt be done to excess.
