HI guys! I'm new here and looking for a little advice. I just built this 1st grow box. this was intended to be my Veg/Mother box. A friend of mine hooked me up with a meeting with another guy who grows and he invited me over to see what he does and his op. When I was meeting with him he had about 35 plants 1 week into flowering all under a 1000w HPS hanging about 4ft from his plants. All of them were really stretched. He was using some generic blooming nutes and re-used soil from his last batch. He ended up giving me 6 plants that showed no sex. I took them home and put them in my box with a MH about 2ft above them and kept them on the 12/12 light cycle. I figured t…

My plants are about 3 maybe 3 amd a half weeks old right now , im wondering how long can i wait till topping them Its kinda early i know but the internodes are so close together some of the bottom leaves on the plant are dieing off I was wondering if I should top it now to give the plant a bit more light down below any help appreciated Thanks!

So i just got my new 400 mh started it up was kinda suprised though , i always thought light from metal halide bulbs were blueish white mine is coming out like a light orange?

How do i check i hear some insects are barely visible too the naked eye Do I need a magnifine glass or something? My plants are 5-6 weeks old , harldy look like they wanna grow , the leaves on the bottom become yellow and die off , leaves that were on the top now become the bottom leaves and they die off and this cycle keeps repeating its self

Hi! Been looking around the forums for a while and have done a little soil plant experiment earlier (killed by fungus gnats). Now i'm looking at this Mr. Green video series on youtube (search "chronic mr green") and it looks like a good starting point. I like the fact that everything is explained. Just wondering if you guys have seen this and have any opinions on anything that should be done slightly differently without deviating too much from the original instructions. 1 thing i will try differently is doing my clones with the seasol method Will do my shopping from bunnings and a local hydro shop/ebay.

we're not looking to spend an arm and a leg but we bought some soil that was 100% natural but it ended up being like a mixture of dirt and woodchips kinda thing. we're looking for pretty much just plain regular soil, no nutrients or anything because we're adding it all in the water, anybody got any ideas???

And why? I know each person has their own particular method, some may be similar...but what methods are you using and why? Of course the two key words are sog and scrog but within each of thse there are vast varieties....so if anyone feels like going into a bit of detail about what we shall call a theoretical setup...including style of growing and wattage Feel free.....Ive been scrogging it for the last 5 years and am looking to ditch the mesh and do something different...and no not have 200 plants on the go at once....

Hi All, have just joined here and i am a uk420 member . Hoping someone on here has grown HDF at some point and can give me a feeding regime guide for them .i am growing in compost and feeding with bio bizz, now in the 4th week of flower and the main cola is huge already- 15 inches- but it is threatening to outgrow the room. had a bit of universal yellowing of the fan leaves and cut out the bloom for a couple of feeds and doubled the grow to 2ml per litre,and seems to be settling down a bit.Any tips would be helpful,cheers. iv got 1 month old nl x ak47 clones there still only 4" but well rooted.iv been flowereing for 10 days and no sign of sex.when will i see hairs.will only 7 hours of LIGHT effect flowering and will to small of plant not show hairs?first time cloner could use some help. '

i took cuttings a month ago and have had them under a clone dome ever since.there rooted and look healthy until i take the dome off.within an hour they are totally wilted,i put the cover back on and they spring back.why is that.(medium is damp)there starting to get brown spots and kind of soggy looking,im thinking mould because of humidity but i cant take the cover off.also i put them to flower a week ago and no sign of gender,when will i see hairs or balls.(ak47 x nl)
