I have pollen i collected and want to pollinate certain buds for seed.how many weeks into flowering should i apply pollen to buds.

hey guys i no a few people who grow dope indoors and some grow tall plants and others grow short plants and some of the blokes who grow the tall plants told me they cut them in half because the top has had all the light and is ready while the lower half is still thin and coverd in white hairs so they put them back on nutes and let em grow for a few more weeks and they fill out and go koota but i have never seen for my self and i have an indoor plant that was 6 foot 5 i just cut in half because the top half was ready but the bottom looks so premmy and i have put it back on nutes and lowerd the light. so i geuss what i wanna no is , is it true does it work or am i waisting …

Hello. I've been interested in pot ever since I started caring about my life.. which was about a year ago. I just keep getting drawn back to cannabis and it's healing properties (whether by coincidence or a higher power). I'm quite interested in it helping me fall asleep and possibly help with anxiety. yo yo all scored an old fridge the other day it has one big door on it and i stripped the guts out of it. gotta spare 400w but is this too big wanna save on elec but not fluros tho is there like a 200w for sonteagro bulbs? also regarding ventilation do i need an extractor fan an a few small holes to pull air in? would like to have none of that so it looks like a normal fridge... good thing bout fridges a lock does not look sus jus keepin those teenagers away from my beer he he

Ok so here's the story. I was doing my normal grow and my HPS 1000W Ballast kicked the bucket. Actually I turned it on for the first time during this grow and it smoked and then died. Either way it was about 5 years old so it is time for a new one.(Got 2 Daytek 600w's) on order. So I decided to do a little experiment. I am flowering with my 1000W MH with a little twist. I got a 400W HPS from my brother for free as he is now getting all his stuff from me. i took 2 male cuttings to polllinate a few branches for seed.there in the same room with my clones.im budding now for a week.males have closed sacks on them.im afraid theyll open and seed all my plants.when do i seed branches.should i take them out now DRY PLANTS AND SEED LATER? G'day Tom, I was wondering if you could post a pic of your old system of RUN TO WASTE. I've found myself in a position whereby I need to run a "passive" system for a crop or two. I don't think I'll have any worries to hurdle, but seeing as you've run with it for so long, you'd know of any traps I might fall into. What I plan to do is to fill some pots within 2 or 3 inches of the rim with expanded clay balls, and then top them off with loose flock. I have a 20 litre drinking water drum here, the kind with the moulded handle in top, with a tap screwed in the bottom. hey whats up all.. i am currently running an NFT system... i have lavender and tw both feed from same res... i am just past 7 weeks now and the trichromes look ready on the lavender but not the tw... prob have another week or two on the tw... my quetion is... sinse i am not really using any medium do i realy need to flush before i harvest the lavender... if i flush now i will not get the full potential from the tw cus they not ready yet... should i go ahead and chop down the lavender and continue feeding the tw or flush for a few days then bring ppm back up after i harvest the lavender? any advice on this would be great... i know everyone loves pics so heres a few from ab…

gday everyone =] first of all, here are the stats: 600w HPS nutes: Coco grow part A & B and Budlink watering once a day for 1 hour using flood and drain. 4 weeks into flowering. this is my first grow and everything was going well until i turned to 12/12. since then the new fan leaves have been looking very sick. does the plant just need more food during this period?? any advice would be great. cheers.

Hi all, just had a quick question regarding the probably of male/female plants. Everywhere i read it says it's a 50/50 which obviously makes perfect sense, however every single plant i've grown has been female. I've only grown a grand total of 10 but it seems like there are more forces at play than 50/50. Is it possible the genetic predispositions of the plants are changing due to breeding practices? I don't know but it seems strange that i'm yet to be unfortunate enough to get a male plant. Perhaps i'm just lucky.
