General Cultivation Q&A

Hey everyone. just started using Seasol seaweed concentrate and Powerfeed fish emulsion concentrate on my girls with good initial results. There growing outdoors in Sydney, Australia and are about 1/2 meter tall. Still want to veg them a bit but can anyone recommend how much i should be fertilizing them? Both concentrates say use every 2 weeks but this seems way to little. Any suggestions wecome Peace

what water temp from germination to seedling (hydro) and when should i bring temps back down?

Have a few seeds germin on cotton wool with distilled water and have opened up after 3 days... FUCK ALL!! Left them a couple more days thinkin they would shoot out but am still waiting.?? The root has popped his head but only about .5cm??? Are they worth planting?? Or should i ditch em>????

WHAT SOIL/POTTING MIX BEST TO PURCHASE FOR GROWING WITHIN UNDER LIGHTS? Just starting to get into growing here, but I'm still unsure about exactly what type of potting mix/soil to look for. I live in Perth, Western Australia and i was wondering if any other growers in WA could recommend some tried and proven potting mixes. The ones i've been able to find in K-mart all seem to have timed released ferts which has been causing problems with my first set of plants that I experimented with.Also have been told that soil that is ACIDIC is no good and soil that is alkaline is no good as such am seeking advice on correct soil/potting mix to purchase that preferably have all that i…

has anyone got any ideas on a good strain to use for SOG. i need the strain to barely stretch. maybe only stretch double its height. i dont want anything going from 10cm when going into flower then ending up 2 1/2ft tall. i need a low strain, with heigh yeilds. ive heard a mainly dominate indica strain would be best suited ?? has anyone got any other idea ??

Hi all I have a question about -(calaxis-trichomes) – I have read a little on the subject but. I am wanting to know if a female plant has more calaxis is this a sign that the plant is going to be stronger (THC) than the other’s and if it had minimal calaxis could still turn out to be a massive (thc) developer?. As I have read people saying that they have plants with hardly any calaxis that have turned out better than the ones with abundant amounts of calaxis. My question…. is this true? 1) Say a white widow plant with not many calaxis. -Vs- a strain not as refined as white widow in strength (THC) but it had more calaxis would be stronger. 2) Or 2 diff kinds o…

Who's going to give them a go and let us know how they worked? (I don't use them) He says on the site to feel free to pass the formulas on..... hey in my new setup ive decided on sea of green, but i want to achieve around 1oz per plant. i no its all strain dependant etc.. but on average how long must the plant be grown before changing hours to flowering so it will achieve around 1oz ? shouldnt need more then 2 or 3 weeks maximum of growing ?? it would continue to grow for the first 3 or so weeks of flower anyway wouldnt it ? thanks

AutoFlowering strains.... Whats the nutrient game plan there? Would you straight up start using flowering nutes?
