Ill be feeding them canna A+B through veg then pk 13/14 in the end.... This will be my second grow and hope they turn out to be monsters so it can last me the whole of the following year!

Hi Canna Nationals I'm a new member and this is post #1. I've been lurking in this excellent forum for the past couple of weeks, absorbing knowledge to help with my first grow. After a fair bit of research here and on other boards, I'm taking a micro, indoor, stealth, cfl, soilless-mix with nutes approach. I hope to journal my progress on this site. Now I'm about to start purchasing, I have a question: when you're in a garden or hydroponics supplies store, how honest with the staff are you? Do you flat-put pretend to be growing tomatoes, or is it a <wink> tomatoes affair? I may need to get some advice from the suppliers, but I don't want to be thrown out of the …

hey peeps, i decided a couple of months ago to give a couple of plants a crack outside in winter ( i know probably not the best idea, but hey anything is better than nothing), the plants have now gone into flower as daylight hours are less than 12 hours a day, my question is, as daylight hours start to increase, and once the daylight hours are exceeding say 14 hours a day will my plant revert back into vegatative stage, or will it keep flowering.

Hi all I'd appreciate any thoughts. Basically my question is does adding h2o2 to nutes do anything nasty? Potted up before flower, added nutes per schedule, burned the plants. In hindsight this is obviously because the new soil and added nutes were too hot a mix. Caught it in time, flushed and dialled the nutes right back in a immediate after-flush feed. The girls are recovering nicely, albeit with a few war wounds. However as they are newly repotted, dampness persists at the bottom of the pot where the roots haven't penetrated yet long after the upper soil containing roots is dry. So I need to water, but am worried about the wet feet. I was wondering if adding a s…

How long are you using potassium for? Do you use it up to the 8th week? And how strong should you use it at each week? Can it be over used? Cheers BH

I hope this is the right place for this question, we'll find out soon enough. I need to force one of my plants to hermi....long story short back in 08 i grew some special skunk, it turned out fkn great and was also hermi....so i got a bag full of feminized special skunk seeds....what a treat. Now the bag is running low, and i need a top up....sooo....how the hell do u force a plant to hermi ? I'm aware that stress contributes...as does over pruning and "run-dry" in a dwc system (which is what i run, dwc)

My little ladies are about 2 weeks old now and I germinated them in rockwool cubes. I recently transported the cubes to some small pots (soil). On checking them yesterday i notices with one of the plants that the main tap root was coming out of the bottom of the pot. Should i move it to a bigger pot already? I fear that if they get any longer I am likely to damage it when putting it into a larger pot later on. The plants themselves only have about 2 sets of leaves. cheers in advance

Hi dudes and dudettes, Ive finally got a bagseed growing away in my new grow cabinet. Until recently I was concerned about the possibility of high humidity in my grow cabinet but with the oscillating fan keeping everything moving and the exhaust fan working nicely, my hygrometer always say 20% now which i take to be its lowest level of display of humidity. So I thought I would ask, does low humidity pose any potential problems? cheers Morphine

And also when would be the best time to use them, like veg stage, budding etc Also i herd that when it comes to fertilizing marijuana plants, it always has to be done to 1/4 of the strength it recommends on the packet....is this true? thanks for your time btw im from SA

Hi, this is my first post. I'm going to start growing weed soon, but I don't know anything about growing any kind of plant. I'm going to grow indoors and I want to know if the time of the year affects the weed plant when grown indoors. If it does, how does it affect the plant? Will it produce a higher yield and/or potency if it is grown at the right time? Or will my plant just not grow at all if I don't grow it at the right time?

Hey guys I have 5 seedlings down in rockwool and 2 are showing yellow leaves. They are about 10 days old. On one of them 2 of the 4 leaves are entirely yellow and on the other just the tip is yellow. I have been spraying them with rhyzosomethingarather from canna at half strength 0.5ml /250ml. My temperatures range from 22 to 32. They are still in a propagation trays with the lid on them as well to keep up the humidity (Around 85%). When is a good time to get them out of their humid home and into the space? Humidity in the space is around 50 - 70%

Long story short, a friend (guy I'm growing with) was talking to another friend's uncle. This guy used to grow and told of a story how with one plant, he put a dead stingray and a dead shovel nose shark under the plant. He then forgot about it and came back 5 months later to find the biggest plant he's ever grown. Had to give away a whole bunch of the harvest .etc It's most likely over an exaggerated story, but we have nothing to lose, so when planting 3 seedlings yesterday, each one got half a snapper and half a flat head buried under it (and a few prawn heads). I know little about what plants need, but I remember as a kid when my dad threw prawn heads all around his…

Gidday fellows Stoners, I have trouble finding information on Hydroponic Run to waste setup. I plan on doing a stealth grow in a working 370 Litre fridge. My biggest problem is I need to leave the setup on its own for 2 weeks at a time. Originally I wanted to setup a DWC recirc system with water chiller. However after reading more and more on the subject and from previous experience I believe the uneven uptake of Nutes verses water will cause big PH issues that I can't attend to and ultimately Nute deficiency's. I believe my only safe option is to use a Run to waste system. Here are my thoughts. I would like feedback thanks. I thought of running 2 pots 250mm…
