Long story short, a friend (guy I'm growing with) was talking to another friend's uncle. This guy used to grow and told of a story how with one plant, he put a dead stingray and a dead shovel nose shark under the plant. He then forgot about it and came back 5 months later to find the biggest plant he's ever grown. Gidday fellows Stoners, I have trouble finding information on Hydroponic Run to waste setup. I plan on doing a stealth grow in a working 370 Litre fridge. My biggest problem is I need to leave the setup on its own for 2 weeks at a time. Originally I wanted to setup a DWC recirc system with water chiller. However after reading more and more on the subject and from previous experience I believe the uneven uptake of Nutes verses water will cause big PH issues that I can't attend to and ultimately Nute deficiency's. Been reading about auto flowering strains like AK47, Lowrider etc. Pretty fascinated with the concept of discreet plants you can place anywhere & harvest up to three times an ouotdoor growing season. Any feedback on strains, reliable seed companies & techniques would be appreciated. Cheers

I got a parcel the other week that contained 2 x freshly rooted clones. I potted them up with a 50/50 coco and perlite mix. The pots are quite large and can easily hold 5L of nutrient solution before any will drip from the bottom of the pots. This is a very simple setup that I water as needed every couple of days by hand. I have them both under a 150w MH 24/0. The Sensi Star is directly under the light and the Salvia is off to the side. After the plants have established themselves a bit more, I will turn on the other light and start taking clones as they grow. From here the new clones will go straight into the main grow room. Easy-peasy.

I have a few of these fertilisers in their raw chemical form which i mix with water in highly concentrated amounts to dose aquatic plants. does anyone think these would benifit seedlings or would they cause harm? eg burning. Potassium Sulphate K2SO4 Monopotassium Phosphate KH2PO4 Magnesium Sulphate MgSO4 Potassium Nitrate KNO3 Assorted trace elements in powder form. cheers Merc.

Hi, my lights accidentally were too close to my 3 day old seedlings for an evening and they are dry and flopped over but half of the stem is still strong. Should I start again or can the seedlings be saved somehow?

I need some help...... Ive been reading about teas with guano, kelp, earthworm castings & molasses. I found a recipe that looks like this - does this sound good? hi guys i am wondering what would be the best way to use these nutrients.i have ak-48 and i am using dutch master gold,monster bud,resinator and rock juice.the bloke at the hydro store said it would be alright to use all at the same time,but he told to half all the nutrients to half strenght and use rock juice at full strenght.he also told me that full strength rock juice is 3mls per litre.can anyone please help with this.because i know some hydro stores will say anything to sell you there shit.so if anyone has had any expereance with rock juice i would like to know how much is full strenght and is what i am using any good.also i would like to know how long to use rock ju…

I just found 2 out of my 4 plants are either male or hermi, lots of balls and only 8 days into flowering. Thinking about separating them and harvesting them for seeds ( think it will be great to keep for future either for me, or strain trade with others who have other strains i want to try ) Because there White widow and Great white shark. How long until i have to separate before i risk contaminating what im hoping are my 2 ladies.

hi all,i have a house inspection comming up and i am 2 weeks into flowering.and i was wondering if i could leave my plant in total darkness for 24 hours.i am on a 12/12 cycle at the moment so would leaving my plant in 24 hour darkness have any bad effect on my plant.i am also going to move it to my mates house which is about 50 meters away.would any of these thing have a bad effect on my plant and if so what.i really dont have a choice in the matter and it has to be done.so i really need to know what the worst out come would be.so please help if you can.thanks all

The other day I was having some problems since recently PH down has been released with a child safety lock but to incorporate this requirement, the bottles no longer have the "dripper" on the top.. I have been told some people are now just drilling in the lid, but I tried adding the "dripping" lid from an older bottle of PH down. When I was filling my tank solution, the lid came off, and the solution poured straight into the tank for a second or two.. I didn't think it was that much, I shook the tank for 2-3 minutes, and then checked the PH and the meter said it was fine. Hey to everyone I have just changed nute brands as they were the only ones available. I usually use Nulife A + B and add canna PK-13-14 at week 5. The nutes I now have are Dutchmaster Advance, plus they recommend you add Dutchmaster Max. It seems from product description that it is a P & K additive that you put in every tank from start to finish. Does anyone know if you still add PK 13-14 at week 5 with this new stuff? I don't have the product in my hands yet, but the info on the product label was sketchy. Thanks to all aussie

Ok, so i got 2 plants going in coco and want to know, if watering every 8hrs for 1 min is enough? Watering times are 2am, 10am, 6pm for 1 min. Is this right? Cheers
